Thankstoallofyouwhotookpartintherecentmembersurvey Wehadover480 membersfromallmembershipcategoriesparticipate,withover77%ofthe responsescomingfromproprietary/spousalmembers Clubmanagement,the Board,andtherespectivecommitteeswillbeanalyzingtheresultsandidentifying areasofstrengthaswellasopportunitiesforimprovement Wewillsharethekey findingsandtheactionplansinaseparatecommunicationshortly However,there isonekeystatIwanttoshare: Over90%respondedtheyareproudtobeaSahalee member Westillhaveworktodotogetto100%,but90%+isagoodstart
IManyofyoumayhavenoticedsomeofthenewupdatesattheClub.BasedonourAssetReserveStudyplanfor 2024,Vinny,withthesupportoftheHouseCommittee,hasdoneanoutstandingjobincompletingseveral updatesaheadoftheKPMGincludingthenewChampionshipTrophiesCaseintheHallofChampions, resurfacingthepatio,andthenewlyrenovatedrestroomsacrossfromtheActonRoom.Ithasbeengreattosee theseprojectscompletedontimetohelpshowcaseourclubandourhistoryasthesummerapproaches.
IhavereceivedmanyquestionsaboutourDirectorofGolf(DoG)search.BenMinyardandTomDeMicoare leadingtheDoGSearchCommitteeandareworkingwiththePGAExecuSearch.Wehaveagroupofhighly qualifiedcandidatesfromsomeofthetopclubsfromaroundthecountry.Virtualinterviewshavealready startedwiththePGAExecuSearch;interviewswiththeDoGSearchCommitteehavejuststarted.Oncewenarrow thefield,wewillhavethetopcandidatesonsiteatSahaleeforasecondsetofinterviews.

In the first half of the year, we've welcomed around 20 new members to our Proprietary membership. Our newly introduced Young Professional Membership is off to a fantastic start, attracting 15 new members. Across all membership categories, a total of 54 members have joined or upgraded their membership, enhancing the vibrant community we proudly call our home away from home.
With the KPMG tournament just weeks away, it's the perfect time to invite your family, friends, and colleagues to experience not only the world-class talent of the Ladies PGA golfers but also the stunning beauty of our course, the camaraderie among members, and the warm hospitality of our clubhouse. Hi to all from the clubhouse,
As I settle in here at Sahalee I want to thank the membership for the continual well wishes and support We are excited about the KPMG, and I will continue to hire additional staff for the season We have a few familiar faces that were here last year Please be patient with staff learning everyone’s names
Following the KPMG and by the middle of July, we will be rolling out some new menu items, and new menus for Brunch, lunch, and dinner We have extended our hours on Wednesday and Saturday until 9:00pm We will also be extending brunch on Saturdays to 1:00pm and Sundays until 2:00pm when we roll out the new brunch menu
This season we will have a portable bar station on the patio for quicker drink service
I want to thank the membership for your emails and respond to the table side and event surveys These are extremely important so that we can adapt and correct matters in real time

SahaleeMembers,Ihumblysubmitmyfinalcontributionforthismonth’sTomTom,asInowroundoutmy responsibilitiesasyourPro.IthasbeenanhonorformetoservethemembershipofSahalee,andIhumbly approachedtheseresponsibilitiesoverthreeyearsago WhenmywifeandImadethetrekfromNorthTexas, theNorthwestseemedatthetimelikeawholeothercountry.However,whatwediscoveredwasatruly welcomingandinclusiveenvironmentfromnewfriendsthatmadeusfeelrightathome.Wehavetrulyenjoyed livingintheNorthwest,andtheweatherneverbotheredus AudraandImostdefinitelyhaveplanstomake tripsbackinthefuture Duringmytenure,IremainedsteadfastinrecognizingtheheroiceffortsoftheFounders ofSahalee,astheirvisionandcommitmentwereinstrumentalingettingthisprojectoriginallyofftheground.In asmallway,IbelieveIhadahandinperpetuatingtheiroriginalvision.Mytimeofthreeyearsisverysmall,but Sahaleewillmostdefinitelyenjoymanymoresuccessesintothefuture!
I’lladmit,thejourneyhasnotbeenaneasyone.IstrivedtoimprovethegolfexperiencefromthefirstdayI arrivedandthenworkeddiligentlytoimprovethegolfcultureforthemembership Oneoftheearliest challenges,mostimportantly,wastobuildawinningteam,andturnthetideonthereputationofSahaleein thelocalgolfcommunity.AsIreflectuponthesethreeyears,IamveryproudofwhatIwasabletodoforthe membersoftheClub SahaleeismostdefinitelyinabetterplacethanIfoundit,andwhomevertakesthe DirectorofGolfrolewillfindfarmoreresourcesandawell-trainedteamthatisdedicatedtopreservingthe Sahaleegolfexperience.
Thepast30dayshavebeenveryinterestingformepersonallyasIhavebeenjugglingballsattwoclubsand workingonour4thmajorChampionshipwiththePGAofAmericateam.Asthecountdowncontinuesuntil SahaleewelcomestheworldofgolftotheHighHeavenlyGround,I’vefoundmyselftakinginandadmiringthe sheerbeautyoftheclubandthe27holesweareblessedtohave ThereputationofSahaleeonanationalgolf sceneandit’smeaningtotheworldofgolfisonethatshouldneverbetakenforgranted Asevidenced,injust afewweeks’time,wewilladdanotherchapterintotheloreofSahalee,andonethatwillundoubtedly transcenddecades.
Theteamhasbeenextremelybusyonthefronthalfof2024,completingoneofthemorearduousand aggressivegolfcalendarsinadvanceoftheChampionship.Thisisahistoricundertaking–major championship,member-member,invitationals,andmorethisseason!Giventheunusualnatureofthegolf calendar,theMember-Memberchampionshipsfellintospringratherthantheircustomarylatesummer placements.TheGolfCommitteewasadamantaboutkeepingthebackhalfof2024asfreeaspossiblefor memberstoenjoytheirclubandcourse,unimpededbyamultitudeofgolfevents.Ithinkthishasbeena resoundingsuccess,andIknowtheteamwillbreatheasighofreliefaswecompletethisspringgolfeventrun
ThethirdweekofJunewillbeamonumentalweekfortheClub,women’sgolf,andthePGAofAmerica.Onthe heelsofthenewsofretirementfromLexiThompson,alleyeswillbeonNellyKordawithherincrediblerunto startthisseason.WealsolookforwardtowelcomingbackBrookeHenderson,followingherepic7ironinthe playoffagainstLydiaKo.IamexcitedtohelpoverseetheadministrationofthisChampionship,andIhope manySahaleememberswilltakeadvantageofthisopportunitytoconnectwiththebestplayersintheworld. Sahalee Member Club Parking
Sahalee Members who have purchased Sahalee Member Club Tickets will receive special parking on course - location TBC*
One (1) parking pass will be provided to each Member number regardless of how many Sahalee Member Club Tickets have been purchased
Please note, if Members should need additional parking for family and friends above the one (1) allotted parking pass, offsite parking will be available at the PGA General Public Parking Lot (Lot GP) - location TBC.
In the event of inclement weather, Members will be directed to park at Lot GP This decision will be made in cooperation with Sahalee and the PGA of America and communicated via email the day prior
No additional parking passes will be available for purchase for on course parking.
*Information on location and how to pick up your on course parking pass will be communicated in the next few weeks
Ticket & Hospitality Reminders
All Members will require a Sahalee Member Club ticket to gain access to the Sahalee Member Club during the Championship regardless of age
Members who are volunteers of the Championship will not need to purchase a ticket, but will have access to the Sahalee Member Club with their personalized volunteer credential
Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the Market Concession adjacent to 12 Green, and a bar will be located inside the Sahalee Member Club with beer and wine available for purchase. (Please note, the bar inside the Sahalee Member Club and Market Concession will not accept charging to your Member number, and will be credit only).
All tickets will be delivered to purchasers via email approximately 2 weeks from the Championship via SeatGeek Mobile tickets on a mobile device will be the only acceptable form of ticket at the gate

Nelly Korda won the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, marking her first career Major Championship victory With an aggregate score of 269, she would match a Championship record-tying total score of -19
Nelly recaptured No 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings earlier this year during her streak of winning 5 consecutive starts on the LPGA Tour, while also capturing her second Major title after winning the Chevron Championship in April
Nelly will look for Major win number three when she tees it up here at Sahalee Country Club, June 20th to June 23rd.
