With the food and beverage minimum including all beverage sales, the Wine Club has been a topic of conversation recently I would like to explain how the Wine Club works for those members that haven’t yet taken advantage of this fantastic benefit!

For a one-time $50 fee, the Wine Club is a way for members to buy wine through the club at very reduced rates for take home use We typically have two wine features per month – one that is only communicated to WC members through email and a complimentary tasting at the club; usually on a Friday night later in the month For each of these features, WC members have a set length of time to order individual wines from the feature This allows us to collect a large order that gives us the best possible price from our distributors The order will be charged to the member’s account in the month that it was placed, which counts against the food and beverage minimum for the quarter, and assembled once the delivery is made. The member is then notified by email that their order is ready and can be picked up by speaking to the bartender or manager on duty. Wine Club pricing is not honored in the dining room and is not typically allowed to be ordered from the current wine list to be taken home. This is to protect the integrity of the dining room wine list as we don’t keep a large inventory of each wine on this list. Special order can be made, but may incur a minimum order from the distributor.

March is Taste Washington Wine Month!

In honor of Taste Washington Wine Month we will be featuring a white and a red wine from two of our favorite Washington vintners – Mark Ryan Winery and Sparkman Cellars! We will be pouring each of these four wines by the glass in the restaurant for the entire month of March.

Mark Ryan Winery est. 1999

Lu & Oly by Mark Ryan ‘We Sat By The Ocean’ white blend

This Chardonnay and Viognier blend is aged in a combination of stainless steel and French oak that gives it a beautifully balanced acidity with flavors of pear, apple and nectarine

Mark Ryan ‘Wild Eyed’ Syrah

A beautifully heavy, inky core with notes of plum, raspberry and a touch of spice. A wonderful textured finish that lingers pleasantly on your tongue.

Sparkman Cellars est. 2004

Sparkman ‘Holler’ Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has been in the Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines twice (in 2013 and 2018)! An intense Cabernet that is deep and structured with a bouquet of blackberry, vanilla and forest air that leads into dark fruits and chocolate on the palate with a refined tannin and acid balance finish

Sparkman ‘Pearl’ Sauvignon Blanc

This is an interesting blend of fruit and minerality that has a great nose of melon, lemongrass and grapefruit. An intense burst of lemon and grapefruit with a bit of floral chamomile and a little bit of chalk and stone.
