Sahalee Dress Code

Our dress code reflects shared values and is reflective of mutual respect for our community and our Sahalee brand. Adherence to the dress code makes our environment more enjoyable and helps sustain the quality of membership and the standard of excellence upon which Sahalee’s reputation was built. Any member, guest, or family member whose attire violates this dress code will not be allowed to use the practice facilities, golf course, or clubhouse. Members are responsible for advising their guests and family members regarding the dress code.

The dress code applies to children (defined 17 and under) either with parents using the practice area, golf course, or dining rooms. The Board has authorized the Staff to ask any member or guest to change before using the golf facilities, or to leave the course or practice facilities should they be in violation of the dress code. In keeping with our tradition, the following dress code applies:

Golf Course, Practice Areas (Including Swing Studio)

Proper attire is expected to conform in style to the following:

Men: Slacks or golf shorts (of an appropriate and tasteful length) must be worn All male golfers must tuck their shirt in and have a collared golf shirt or mock turtleneck Sweaters, Sahalee Golf Shop-style pullovers, and hoodies (from golf apparel manufacturers with golf logos no larger than 3 inches) are permitted All golfers must have suitable golf footwear, which is closed-toed Rain suits are permitted Hats or Visors may be worn with the beak forward

Women: Slacks, capri pants, skirts, skorts, and tailored golf shorts (of an appropriate and tasteful length) must be worn. Leggings may be worn, but only under skirts, skorts, and shorts. Females may wear their shirts untucked, but shirts must include a collar (regular collar, mock turtleneck, or turtleneck) or the shirt may have sleeves and include a zipper or button. Sweaters, Sahalee Golf Shop-style pullovers, and hoodies (from golf apparel manufacturers with golf logos no larger than 3 inches) are permitted. All golfers must have suitable golf footwear, which is closed toed. Rain suits are permitted. Hats or Visors may be worn with the beak forward.

All: Some clothing items not permitted in the golf area at any time include denim, tee shirts, undershirts, athletic/sweatshirts, sweat suits, cargo pants, cutoffs, running shorts, cargo shorts, short shorts, halter or fishnet tops.
