My background comes from nothing more than being in music at a young age and growing from there. My goal in DJing is to bring people together to connect with each other regardless of the style of music played.

Ava is also an actress for the Academy Acting Company and most recently starred as Sandra Bloom in Big Fish.

Chris has been a longtime radio talk show host on WOAI, KTSA and ESPN Radio, having broadcast from Super Bowls and NBA Championships.

Phillip Higginbotham is one of the three hosts of the local arena football podcast Smokin’ Gunz, and a dedicated Gunslingers fan. He currently serves as the Pastor at the First United Methodist Church in Palacios, TX. He previously served as the Youth Pastor at La Vernia UM Church for 7 years.

Don “Pop” and Pam Rackler have been working together for over 45 years!

The high school sweethearts married in 1976, and have made it their goal to promote family, community, and their hometown of San Antonio in all that they do. The young couple worked from the ground up in the business of home comfort, eventually founding the family business of Jon Wayne Service Company. From answering the phones to working in the field, Pop and Pam have been involved in every aspect of this highly respected and fast-growing business, building the reputation for not only excellent customer service and products, but also as a Top Workplace in San Antonio. Their dedication to community includes blood drives, support for military veterans and the children at Boysville, and the high school sports program Player of the Game, among many other projects.

Now the proud owners of the San Antonio Gunslingers, the Racklers and their extended family are excited to give the fans and the team the best sports experience in the city.

About the San Antonio Gunslingers

The San Antonio Gunslingers were founded in 2020 and built upon the legacy of the popular USFL team from the 80s. We played our inaugural season in the West Division of the American Arena League and played our home games in the San Antonio Rose Palace. That year we made our very first playoff appearance against the North Texas Bulls.

After that successful first season, we moved up and joined the growing National Arena League in the fall of 2021 and played our first game in the spring of 2022. We were now playing our home games at the Freeman Coliseum in front of thousands of fans. Our team changed ownership partway through the 2022 season, and finished the season with a 4-8 record. But we were recognized by our peers and selected as the NAL Franchise of the Year. Several of our players were also recognized by the league for their standout skills.

We made it back to the playoffs in 2023 with an 8-4 record in our second and final full season in the NAL. We moved up again, this time joining the nationally respected Indoor Football League in their West Division for the 2024 season and our 5th year as a team.

About the Indoor Football League

THE IFL MISSION & VISION

To consistently serve our fans, sponsors, and markets with the highest level of professional indoor football, and to do so with integrity, affordability, and passion, both on and off the field. To be the No. 1 source of family-friendly sports entertainment through professionalism, sportsmanship, quality, and stability.

In 2008, two indoor football leagues (the United Indoor Football League and the Intense Football League) agreed to dissolve their respective organizations and merge to become the new Indoor Football League.

Now the Indoor Football League (IFL) is the undisputed leader among professional indoor football leagues worldwide, featuring the world's best, and best payed, indoor football players and coaches. More than 150 players from the IFL have signed contracts with NFL or CFL teams, by far the most among any indoor football league.

It is also America’s longest continuously-running indoor football league, and is the second-longest running professional football league in the U.S., after only the National Football League. The IFL is currently enjoying its 16th consecutive season of play in 2024.

There are currently 16 teams in the IFL, and additional expansion is expected in the coming years. 10 of our 16 teams are in top-50 media markets. They also include a number of historic indoor football organizations such as the Arizona Rattlers, the Iowa Barnstormers, the Sioux Falls Storm, the Jacksonville Sharks, and more. Numerous organizations within the league have more than 20 years of operating experience in their market.

FROM ARENA TO INDOOR FOOTBALL: How does the league change affect Gunslingers Game Play?

Indoor football as played in the IFL is an adaptation of the outdoor game, made to be played in a smaller space.

We are proud to offer a unique product, playing on a 50-yard field with padded dasher boards surrounding the field. Our teams have a 21-man roster, compared to a 53-man roster in outdoor football. The IFL's game play has 8 players on offense, two of which can be in motion at the snap, and 8 players on defense.

Our 50-yard field is half the length of an outdoor field, and a little more than half as wide because there are no sidelines. A four foot padded wall called the “dasher board” surrounds the field instead. A player is down if they are pushed into the wall or hold the ball over the wall. This wall allows fans to get an up-close view of the game, and players can and do go over the wall. When this happens, we do request you give the players back, but you can keep the ball!

Scoring is similar to the outdoor game, but there are more ways to score. On a kickoff, a kicker who sends the ball through the uprights on the opposite end scores a “Deuce” for two points. If a kickoff returner is tackled in the end zone, the kicking team is awarded a point called a “Rouge.”

Speaking of the kicking game, the goal posts are half as wide as in the outdoor game, making extra points a lot harder. A team may also “go for two.” All of this is designed to make IFL games highscoring, action-packed, and exciting to watch. We hope you will agree!

We’ll vigorously clean and flush the drain line of your indoor unit, so you never have to worry about a wet mess. A clogged drain line can cause a multitude of issues, from poor system performance to water damage and mold growth.

Refrigerant Level Check:

We’ll check your refrigerant levels and add the first pound of Freon completely FREE! While some older AC units tend to lose a bit of Freon with age, low Freon can also be a sign of a larger leak or damaged component. Low Freon can prevent your system from cooling and cause damage to your compressor.

My name is Sofia Cordova and I am a 2nd year veteran from San Antonio, TX. Outside of Six Shooters, I currently work as a Pre-K class assistant at an elementary school. A fun fact about me is that I have performed in states throughout the United States, and on a cruise ship!

To me, being a Six Shooter gives me lots of rewarding opportunities such as being able to interact with our community and fans, and creating friendships with my amazing teammates, all while continuing my dance journey.
