Waldemar (Brammy) Bramwell I would come into office at 7:00am and there was Waldemar, getting things together to head on the road. We never exchanged paths without him giving me some advice, encouragement, or something to smile about. I thought then that God caused that positive energy from Brammy to be there to start my day. He was passionate about his work and was undaunted even when he got ill. The forever motivator. He was always with a smile. Loved to tease and play pranks. Brammy was always on our branch trips, whether home or abroad. After a fun filled day, we board the bus for sleep; but not Brammy. He would be up and down the bus isle to see who was asleep to play some prank. We had to watch out for one another. Energetic Brammy was never caught sleeping! Bammy your work ethic, achievements and accolades are your legacy and a fine example for fellow colleagues Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are admired and loved beyond words and missed beyond measure Sleep in peace…Brammy

ribute from Jasnieth Harvey, Corporate Circle Branch

Mr. Waldemar Bramwell, Brammy was a Corporate Circle Branch leader and the branch comedian. He was a hard-working advisor, he had plans to reach his goal and he achieved them. Very unselfish to his colleagues. I wanted to be like him, so I ask him how he did it. He said, reach prospects before they start to work in the mornings. I tried, but when I reached a few at 8:30 am, they said I was half hour late. Mr. Bramwell was there earlier. I went back to him, he said no you sleep too late, try construction building. Brammy made us laugh at all times. On our bus rides we could not sleep, he walked with a tube of toothpaste. He made a circle around our nose while Verley Teape was the photographer. We will miss Mr. Waldemar Bramwell, a colleague, a friend, an advisor of integrity. A man who made us laugh. Rest in Peace Brammy.

ribute from Pete Forrest Former Senior Branch Manager, Corporate Circle

Branch of Sagicor Life Waldemar Bramwell.. “Brammy’, entered the life insurance industry over 2 decades ago as part of the Sales Team at Jamaica Mutual Life and during his tenure there was a top producer from day one for his Barry Street Branch and a sterling, consistent performer for the company . Brammy was molded to compete and this he did everywhere he went, fiercely taking on challengers and challenges whether in Sales, Table tennis or Cricket. He wanted to win, and this mindset helped made him the consummate Top Sales representative that he was. Brammy joined up with a group of sales representatives who had transitioned from Jamaica Mutual to Life of Jamaica in early 1999. He never skipped a beat and went on to become a year after year top producer for the former Premium Branch. In 2003 Brammy moved to the Corporate Circle Branch of Life of Jamaica which later became Sagicor Life. At Corporate Circle Branch he set the stage for another series of top draw performances as he dominated the production boards and awards in what was one of LOJ/Sagicor’s top performing branches for over 15 years. He was tops with CASES, Tops with Premium and Tops with Commissions. He was a genuine all-rounder whose consistency at the wicket, gave us all a track to follow and a champion to emulate. He was a fun-loving individual who would always be found at the centre of most” jive” arguments and always up to pranks especially when the Corporate Circle Branch went on its yearly escapades around the country or foreign trips and conventions. Do not fall asleep on any tour bus we were on or you would wake up with all sorts of appendages and colours courtesy of Brammy. He was always willing to give advice and counsel. Very stubborn and you had to find innovative ways to get him to adjust from time to time. Brammy was an early riser, would be on his second call when most were just stirring in bed, he was a true-blue soldier who battled his illness quietly but steadfastly. He remained very upbeat and positive throughout his health challenges and stubbornly continued to pave new roads in a career that made him and meant so much to him. He loved to walk as his main form of exercise. Today we celebrate the life of an industry Icon who has now walked on but into our industry records and will be etched there for centuries to come Walk good BRAMMY … Gone too soon but will never be forgotten The Family of “Citizens of the Corporate Circle Branch” who shared the corridors with you on this journey will always remember you, your exploits, stories and uplifting moments. May your Soul now rest in Peace and light perpetually shine on you forever more.
