Brennin Jack LET'S HAVE A SALE!

Welcome

FROM MALCHUK FARMS Welcome FROM GARDHAM FARMS

We would like to welcome everyone to our 2nd annual bull sale with some new consignors this year. I have confidence in our animals and stand behind them 100%. If there is ever a problem, be sure to contact us directly. I don’t think there has been a better time to raise beef cattle than now with the demand for beef going up. We’ve raised a strong group of 2 year old bulls this year.

In our offering there should be a bull for everyone’s operation. All bulls and females have been on a pretty good herd health program since they hit the ground. At weaning time they are put on a TMR with all minerals, hay and silage mixed together as a ration.

As they grow to a two year old, they get put on grass in the summer and repeat a similar ration in the winter. We hope to see you all on March 13th and don't hesitate to stop in before sale day, the coffee is always on.

The Malchuk Family

Gardham Farms would like to thank Malchuck Farms for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of this sale. As well as Jack Auction group for their sales management expertise.

Our entire bull offering comes from a closed herd with a long-standing health program developed in consultation with our veterinarians. All bulls have received a complete vaccination program with Tasvax8 and Express FP 5 and have been boostered and Ivermec’d appropriately post weaning. They have been well accustomed to handling prior to sale day and will be sold with a breeding soundness examination. These yearlings have been developed on a balanced moderate-energy ration, in partner with nutritionist’s from trouw nutrition. A feed ration that was designed to promote sound growth, structural integrity and longevity. They have not been pushed for short term performance. Our goal is to provide fertile, functional bulls that will go to work and remain productive for years to come.

We’d like to thank everyone who’s shown an interest in our program. It’s a great time to be in the cattle industry and we hope you can find something that fits your needs back home. Give us a shout if you’d like to come take a look in person. We’d love to walk you through our offering.

MALCHUK FIREBRAND 8M 2

5M was one of the easiest keeping bull calves ever since he has been a yearling. He just keeps putting on the pounds! 5M’s dam came from Nolan Cattle Company that goes back to the Tibbie cow family. There lies some of the best footed and uddered females that were produced in the Angus breed. He’s going to be a bull that has herd sire written all over him!

8M was sired off the Brooking Firebrand 6068 bull that was popular in the female replacement pen. 8M was an embryo calf off the Soo Line Rose 1019 cow that sure made a name for herself at Brooking Angus. With the combination of these genetics it sure has made a powerful walking bull.

These are two half brothers off the very popular calving ease sire SAVE Early Arrival 0903. 0903 was the 2nd highest selling bull at the Schaff Angus Valley Production Sale in 2021 for $230,000. Here are two bulls that you can put in the heifer pen and walk away and not look back. MFA 10M’s dam was purchased out of the 2023 Schaff Angus Valley Sale for $15,000. She goes back to the famous Madame Pride cow family. These are the type of bulls that are easy on your heifers and the calves are able to get a good start. Both Dam’s milk very well and have very correct udders.

MALCHUK JESSEJAMES 14M 5

MALCHUK PROFOUND 16M 6

14M is sired by the SAV Jessie James bull that sure made a name for himself. 14M’s dam was one of the first Angus cows I purchased and there is a reason why she’s still on the farm today. Here’s a bull that you can put with 10 extra cows and him being a 2 year old will come in looking the same shape he went out!

If you want a bull with more drive, here's the one! With the calf market being the highest we’ve seen in the last 10 years, here is a bull that will put more pounds on the calves at weaning time. 16M’s sire, Ellingson Profound 8155, was known to make a very strong group of replacement heifers.

He’s sired by the famous SAV Rainfall bull that sold for $460,000 US at the 2017 Schaff sale. 17M has a huge body, great hair coat and thick topped. His mother, 86K, sure did a heck of a job on her first calf!

I can’t say enough about this calf. He will be my very first Coalfield son sold off this farm. 19M’s sire has some of the nicest fee that I’ve seen since I started my Angus program. This calf has huge potential to be such a strong herd sire. He’s been a standout bull in the pen all year long. 19M’s dam goes back to the Lady Blossom cow family that sure made an impact on the Angus Breed.

MALCHUK MAGNUM 20M 9

20M was my top pick right from when he was a yearling. His full sister sold at the All Star sale in Regina in 2024 for $14,000. SAV Magnum sired 20M and between performance and calving ease he has sure made a name for himself! 20M’s dam is the great Musgrave Blackbird 2556 and has proven herself in the last several years. The EPD’s and genetics are proven to make this one of our strongest walking bulls to be produced at Malchuk Farms. Sibling

Here’s three half brothers that came off Bar E L “The Big Kahuna 59J” that was purchased at the Bar E L’s last bull sale. If you want bulls that put more pounds on those steer calves at weaning and also keep a group of replacement heifers, here they are! These three bulls have frame, muscle and such a great top to them with outstanding feet underneath them. These are the bulls that you can throw with 30 plus cows and they’ll come back looking the way they went out. Huge herd sire potential on all three!

MALCHUK TURNINGHEADS 31M 13

MALCHUK TURNINGHEADS 38M 14

Here’s on for the heifer pen! He came out at just 71lbs and hasn’t stopped growing. 31M’s sire goes back to the great Wheatland Cattle Company that walked Chestnut Turning Heads themselves in their program. 31M is one of the most respectable bulls in the bull pen this year, he will always greet you at the gate. With the dam going back to the Bar E L program and this mate you’re going to want to keep your replacement heifers off this one!

38M is another turning heads and this bull will work on both heifers and cows. He has a great haircoat and moves well! He’s the type of bull that will sire more pounds at weaning time. We strive for our bulls to be just like 38M. Make sure to check him out on sale day!

MALCHUK SPECKLE 1M 15

MALCHUK SPECKLE 2M 16

1M’s dam was a type of cow you had to push around the barn because she was so mild mannered at calving time. 1M looks a lot like his dam. Overall a correct Speckle Parkbull 1M will become.

MALCHUK DONNA 11N 17

11N is a heifer that we have high confidence in and will make a huge impact in someone's herd. She was one of the two heifers that got picked to go to Piller Cattle Company to get ready for Agribition. In the end we decided to only sell one at the All Star Sale and bring 11N home for our lead off heifer in our own sale. Her sire, Humbolt South America, sure made an impact in 2024 in the Angus world. Her dam comes back from the Coleman Angus program which was in the Donna cow family. This heifer has the perfect texture, hair, feet and udder. She will make one heck of a female with these two genetics mixed together.

MALCHUK ROSEBUD 28N 19

25N sire, Coalfield 2177K, can sure make a pen of replacement heifers! Very easy keeping with a great set of feet under them. It’s amazing how these Coalfield daughters have such a big drive after they hit the ground to get going!

We purchased two bred females from the MWC complete herd dispersal sale and they were both bred to Ellingson Hi-Range 1356. They gave us two heifer calves so we decided to put one up on offer. From the day this one was born it was my top pick out of the two. I think this heifer could go on to make an impact on someone’s Angus herd. With her sire background, she has excellent potential.

With the sire coming from the Wheatland Cattle Company, you know it will have some power behind it. I think 29N is going to make a great replacement heifer and mom to come.

From the day I weaned her you wouldn’t be able to walk in the heifer pen and pick her out as a March calf! She weaned off the cow at 680lbs. 46N’s dam has some very strong genetics behind her. This is a heifer I had watched all year in the pen and I think she can be a big game changer in someone’s program. Through the years she definitely grew on me. First group of heifers off our Everblack Rio 305K and they were what we expected.

Another Grady son, this time a little smaller framed making him an easy choice for the heifer pen. Good hair and right up there with the rest at weaning time.

Here’s a heavily haired son off Grady, a well-balanced bull that comes with plenty of middle but stays smooth out front.

We have two very honest bulls on offer this year that we are very proud of and to stand behind. We are a small operation located in Storthoaks SK.

G BAR C GOLD RUSH 2502N

G BAR C CORVET 403M

G Bar C Gold Rush 2502N aka: Nugget, as the girls call him. Born at 64 pounds, he is a force to be reckoned with. A complete and solid bull that is correct for the breed. He was raised for longevity and to sire thick deep bodied calves. His length and depth overall makes him the heifer bull you can keep in your pen for years to come. He is sure footed, docile and has that “catch your eye” appeal to him. Nugget, a cool & stylish bald face bull, has exceptional pedigree on both sides, with proven genetics off True North, backed by a strong uddered and productive Double Bar D dam, this Son is guaranteed heifer safe.

MICH WHEATLAND COALFIELDS 2177K

From the day we saw Coalfield we knew we had to purchase this bull. On March 23, 2023 Wheatland Cattle Company had their annual bull sale. We purchased Coalfield for $86,000 and it was no disappointment. His first sons averaged $19,000 at the 2024 Wheatland Bull Sale. His feet, texture and shape is exactly what most people are looking for in bulls. In the fall of 2024 at FarmFair, in Edmonton, Coalfield was named Black Angus Grand Champion Bull and National Champion. Now that Coalfield’s showing days are over he is now a walking bull at Malchuk Farms.
