Thank you so much for choosing to support Safe Haven Family Shelter during this holiday season. As you shop for needs for the shelter and the families, please keep the items below in mind. Our team at holidays@safehaven.org can help with any questions.
Gift delivery will take place between December 4 - 18. You will receive notification of your scheduled delivery date and time at the end of November. If that date/time you receive does not work for you, please let us know and we will work something out.
Gifts should be wrapped and clearly labeled. Please do not mark “from” on the gift tags.
Details for Sponsoring a Family:
• You will be given a wish list for each family member with their name and description of what items they are interested in receiving. In general, we ask for two to three wish items for each individual along with two to three family gifts.
• The average cost for sponsoring a family is around $75 to $100 per family member plus two to three family gifts You can let us know what size family you prefer.
• Please include gift receipts, particularly for clothing items, if possible.
• Since many of our families receive hand-me-downs and used toys during the year, we ask that you help us make this time of year special by purchasing new items for the families.
• Please stay away from toys that can be seen as violent (e.g., toy guns, toy weapons, etc )
• Please avoid toys or games with many parts or small pieces as they tend to get lost.
