While residing in the town of Eighth Grade, where we were directed by Jack Owens, president of our pioneer band, we experienced numerous . pleasant events. The citizens of the town of Eighth Grade enjoyed a picnic sponsored by Mrs. Marshall. As a farewell memorial to the State of Grammar School, we participated in a solemn ceremony, known as Commencement.
