IEA is a national organization modeled after the IHSA program hosted by colleges and universities around the country. High school and Middle school riders compete with the opportunity to compete at regional and national competitions. Students can win prizes and scholarships. The 2008 National Finals had more than $125,000 of scholarship money granted to IEA riders. At IEA competitions, riders do not supply their own horses or tack. The horses, saddle and other tack are all provided to the riders at the show. Essentially, the horse is new to the rider, and the scores are based upon horsemanship and equitation, not the horse. IEA is open to riders grades 6-12 at any riding level. Give us a call to be part of the team! You don’t have to board here to join.
