N BEHALF OF SACRED HEARTS ACADEMY, mahalo for your steadfast support and belief in our mission. As I refect on my two years serving as President of my alma mater, I am flled with profound gratitude and hope. It has been a humbling honor to lead this remarkable community and to continue the sacred work of forming girls and young women through an exceptional education, the experience of God’s compassionate love revealed in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and the inspiration to become courageous leaders for their communities and the world.
This year has been one of meaningful growth, renewal, and possibility. Grounded in our Catholic identity, we have deepened opportunities for faith formation in ways that nurture the hearts and spirits of our students. From the introduction of our Second Friday Morning Masses and dedicated Lower School Masses to our inaugural FatherDaughter Retreat, we have continued to deepen a culture where faith is lived, celebrated, and woven into the life of our community. These moments remind us that the formation of young women is not only academic, but spiritual and relational.
We have expanded opportunities for students to lead, create, and pursue their passions. Through programs like Girls Got Grit and Student Ambassadors, young women are growing as confdent leaders while representing the Academy in our community. Across athletics, performing/ visual arts, and STEM—including our Creative Media Wing—students are developing their talents in inspiring ways, from surfng to storytelling. This spirit of excellence is refected in our student journalists, whose newspaper earned top honors at the Hawai‘i High School Journalism Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
These opportunities are possible because of you. Your generosity does more than provide tuition assistance and scholarships—it creates access, inspires innovation, and opens doors for girls to explore their interests, develop their voices, and pursue their God-given potential. Every gift is prayerfully stewarded and aligned to mission, and every investment you make is refected in the lives of the students whose futures you help shape.
As we look ahead, I am energized by the power of partnership and by what lies before us. Together, we are strengthening a school where girls are known, challenged, supported, and inspired; where faith and excellence go hand in hand; and where young women are prepared to lead with intellect, compassion, and conviction in a changing world.
Thank you for walking alongside us and for sustaining the 115-year legacy of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts. I never imagined the blessing of leading my alma mater, yet I do so with grace and an unwavering belief that we are raising a generation of women prepared not only to succeed, but to transform the world. Ways to Give
A gift to Sacred Hearts Academy supports the Academy’s mission of educating young women to make a diference in providing a strong and enriching experience for its students. Each gift is sincerely appreciated. Donors may select from a variety of ways to make their charitable gifts to the Academy:
GIFTS
Gifts of cash, securities, personal property or life insurance proceeds provide a valuable resource which the Academy uses to support and enhance programs, improve facilities, deliver professional development for faculty, and provide scholarships for students.
REAL ESTATE
The Academy welcomes gifts of real estate transferred during a lifetime or by will.
PLANNED GIVING
The Academy encourages donors to explore the possibilities and opportunities for creative gift planning so the Academy can assist them in a variety of gift considerations to meet their individual needs.
MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies ofer matching gifts to an employee’s charitable contributions. This beneft can double an employee’s gift to the Academy. Inquire with your employer to see if the company ofers you a matching gift program, and, if so, obtain the proper forms to forward to the Academy.

AAS WE REFLECT ON GIVING TO THE ACADEMY in 2024-2025, we are deeply grateful for you—our donors—whose generosity continues to build “her future” for the girls and young women entrusted to our care. For 115 years, the Academy has educated girls to become leaders through rigorous academic, spiritual and social formation, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities.
In August 2024, we proudly welcomed our frst-ever alumna president, Dr. Brandy Ann Sato, ’94. Decades ago, donors like you supported students just like Dr. Sato, helping them to grow into the leaders they are today. The mission begun by the Sisters of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary continues because of your commitment.
Your support this year ensured that Academy girls from pre-k through grade 12 could continue their education with the help of fnancial aid and scholarships. They explored science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM): built new friendships, participated in athletics, dance, music and countless other activities that shape confdent compassionate young women.
