SHA Annual Report 23-25

Page 1

ON BEHALF OF Sacred Hearts Academy, thank you for your devoted support. I am humbled and honored to lead my alma mater in ofering girls and young women an exceptional education, an encounter with God’s compassionate love revealed through the hearts of Jesus and Mary, and an enduring inspiration to become leaders who will transform our communities and our world.

Guided by our Catholic values and the teachings of Jesus Christ, we remain steadfast in our commitment to nurturing the whole person- supporting their full fourishing, honoring their humanity, and helping them grow into confdent and capable women who embody excellence and empathy. Our annual fundraising eforts help us achieve this goal.

Thanks to your fnancial support during the 2023-2024 school year, we’ve been able to do far more than provide scholarships and fnancial aid. Your contributions have directly strengthened our signature programs. Our STEAM+ Symposium brought together girls from across the island in immersive workshops that integrated science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts. The Girls Got GRIT program built resilient, confdent female leaders. And our talented musicians performed on the national stage at the 2024 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Your generosity ensured that our students thrived both academically and creatively.

Every gift is prayerfully and carefully aligned with our mission. You can trust that your support is managed with integrity and purpose. This annual report includes fnancials that refect our commitment to transparency and responsible stewardship. Know that you make a long-lasting impact on the lives of our girls, and for that we are deeply grateful.

As I look to the future, I am flled with hope for what lies ahead. We are continuing to elevate our STEM programming- fostering academic excellence at the highest level. The arts remain a vital part of our school culture that nurtures creative expression. Our athletic oferings are expanding as well with new opportunitiessuch as Flag Football- that encourages strength and discipline. Most importantly, we are deepening our students’ faith experiences by helping them live out the values of the Gospels.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. Your generosity helps carry forward our 115-year legacy of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts. We are all empowering the next generation of women to lead with purpose and grace. May God continue to bless you and our beloved Sacred Hearts Academy.
