VALUE LIFE-LONG LEARNING

GIVING REFLECTION

From the Administration, Board and Sisters

One school amazed by the efforts and accomplishments of our students and faculty. One community Whether in academics, College Admissions, Athletics, Robotics, Servicegift in professional associations, Academy students Learning, orOne involvement

In our work on behalf of Sacred Hearts Academy, we are regularly

and teachers are achieving first-rate results and making an impact in the world! Being able to do these things is dependent on the support of many in the Sacred Hearts Academy ‘ohana‌parents, grandparents, alumnae, friends, community partners, staff and the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts. Some of you have given your time, others your ideas, still others your prayers, and many your financial contributions. All of your support is so essential to providing the excellent education and opportunities to girls and young women offered at the Academy. This annual report recognizes the financial contributions made to the Academy during the 2018 to 2019 year. These contributions have had many points of impact. They have enabled students to attend the Academy when their families could not otherwise afford tuition. They have built a new playground for lower school students. They have made the Girls Got GRIT leadership development program possible. And, they have helped students expand their worldview through the China Scholars program. These are just a few of the places where your gifts have made a difference. Your support of the Academy makes a tangible difference in all that happens at Sacred Hearts. Through your gifts, your presence and its impact on campus is felt every day! With gratitude and aloha,

Scott Schroeder, Ph.D.

Ways to give

WAYS TO GIVE

A gift to Sacred Hearts supports the Academy’s mission of educating young women to make a difference in providing a strong and enriching experience for its students. Each gift is sincerely appreciated. Donors may select from a variety of ways to make a charitable gift to Sacred Hearts.

OUTRIGHT GIFTS

Outright gifts of cash, securities, personal property or life insurance provide a valuable resource which the Academy uses to support and enhance programs, maintain and improve facilities, provide professional development for faculty and scholarships for students.

REAL ESTATE

The Academy welcomes gifts of real estate transferred during a lifetime or by will.

PLANNED GIVING

The Academy encourages donors to explore the possibilities and opportunities for creative gift planning. The Academy can assist donors in a variety of gift considerations to meet their individual needs.

MATCHING GIFTS

The Development Office is readily available to assist in gift considerations. Please contact Angie Golis-Yamamoto in the Development Office at 808.734.5058, ext. 333, for more information about giving.

Many companies offer matching gifts to an employee’s charitable contributions. This benefit can double an employee’s gift to the Academy. Inquire whether your employer has such a program and obtain the proper forms to forward to Sacred Hearts.
