Dear Keepers of the Covenant,
It is an honor to welcome you as Cadets of the USA Eastern Territory’s Keepers of the Covenant session! Your journey has led you to a new venue where God will use His Holy Spirit to confirm your calling, purify your hearts, provide practical training and prepare you for greater ministry opportunities. You are surrounded by many who will walk this path with you, encouraging and guiding you through this season of preparation and into future places of ministry.
Ephesians 2:10 confirms, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” As a community of believers, we share this in common.
You and your session mates will be known by your session name, Keepers of the Covenant. Yet, you must live up to your session name individually. God created YOU perfectly. He redeemed YOU personally. He called YOU specifically. In return, God is deserving of YOUR devotion, allegiance, dedication and faithfulness.
No one can keep your Soldier’s Covenant for you; you must live up to it every day. And, as you complete this training experience, it will be the same commitment to His Word, His Strength and His Spirit that will allow you to keep your Officer Covenant.
Your session name has already defined a standard of faithfulness, constancy, loyalty and perseverance. It is our prayer that you will seek God’s strength and grace to live up to it every day.
But from everlasting to everlasting, the LORD’s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts. Psalm 103:17-18 (NIV)
