By Titus Murithi C apital Sacco has emerged the top most Sacco which operates the FOSA and with the widest network coverage in Meru County.

The Sacco had won the same award last year, 2018. This was announced during the 2019 International Cooperative Day celebrations in Meru County which was held at MCK Abuthuguchi Boarding Primary school, in Githongo location, Central Imenti Sub-county. Capital Sacco officials receive a trophy from Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi during the 2019 cooperative day. At the Capital Sacco tent, the governor was welcomed by the Chairman Jackson Kinoti and the present Sacco’s staff.

While addressing gathering, Capital Sacco Chairman said as a Sacco they are taking their services to a notch higher to satisfy their current and potential members.

He requested community members to join Capital Sacco for the latest efficient, effective, and most modern financial services as well as pocket friendly products.

In his speech, the governor praised Capital Sacco as one of the most well managed Saccos in the region.

Capital Sacco retained the win in Imenti North sub-county in the category of the Key Co-operatives stake holders in Meru County.

This win attracted the community members who crowded the tent to be explained the services and products offered by the Sacco, including Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi who visited each tent to see what the Saccos offered.
