COVID-19:
ur Response • Shower Services: Our free shower program is more important than ever right now. We are maintaining full shower services/hours. Additionally, all patients are being screened for symptoms before entering the building and being provided with prevention education and location of hand washing stations. • Pharmacy Home Delivery: Free delivery is being offered to all of our patients and the requests have increased five fold. Medication pick up tents have also been set up outside the Clinics to limit entry into the building. • Blood Pressure Monitors: In an effort to ensure patients utilize telehealth we are providing blood pressure monitoring devices to the 6,500 patients who suffer from Hypertension.
The Clinic jumped into action during the COVID-19 pandemic to care for our community. We completely shifted operations at all sites to combat the virus head-on and protect the safety of our staff and patients. Here’s what we have done: • Medical & Mental Health Services: 80% of all routine visits and individual therapy sessions have been converted to telephone/video visits. Patients with urgent medical issues come into the Clinic for care. • Dental Services: We have suspended routine dental services. Patients with urgent dental issues are treated at our Beverly Clinic.
Increasing Access In January, the Clinic proudly expanded care to individuals experiencing homelessness with the opening of a satellite clinic at The Center at Blessed Sacrament in Hollywood (an access center for individuals experiencing homelessness). Creating a dedicated exam room at The Center, allows us to further collaborate with a trusted and established organization, increasing access to healthcare for individuals experiencing homelessness. Open three mornings each week, the Clinic’s hours coincide with The Center’s wellness programs to maximize the number of patients referred to the clinic. Our small but mighty satellite clinic staff includes a Nurse Practitioner along with a Medical Assistant who also serves as a front desk and a Patient Eligibility Specialist, assisting patients with insurance enrollment.
• COVID-19 Testing Sites: Drive through testing is available at all sites for individuals who have symptoms.

Virgil Family Health Center
The new Clinic is operating with limited hours and open two days, offering medical and behavioral health services. During this time, it’s very important for children, especially newborn to two years of age, to stay on top of their scheduled vaccines. Our Family Health Center is offering patients a safe way to receive the vaccines they need.
On April 13th, we excitedly opened our new Family Health Center as planned. While we look forward to being able to have a big grand opening event to mark this momentous occasion in the future, we felt it was important, during the COVID pandemic, to provide another access point in the Rampart Village Neighborhood.
