Claire Desjardins’ organic abstracts are an experimentation in color, technique, and form. She combines fluid washes of color, speckled drips of paint, and delicately scrawled lines in her works, which are often inspired by her responses to daily life. Claire was named a winner of the 2016 Artfind Liquitex Muted Competition and has completed an artist residency in China. 3 Steps to Buying and Investing in Photography Limited edition photographs are a great way to start collecting art. Prices are typically lower than for paintings, making it an accessible as well as striking medium to live with. Before buying a photograph we recommend following these 3 simple steps:

Is it a limited edition? Find out if the photograph is a limited edition or an open edition print. A limited edition has much more value as it means the photographer will only make a certain number of prints. Once they have sold out there will be no more, unlike an open edition where the work can be printed endlessly.

Does it come with a certificate of authenticity? All the limited edition photographs we sell come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Will it arrive framed and ready to hang? Check if the artist is selling the work ready to hang so that there will be no surprises when the work arrives.
