WELCOME TO THE 35TH ANNUAL AIDSWALK TUCSON! I am thrilled and deeply honored to welcome you to the 35th Annual AIDSWALK Tucson! It is with immense gratitude and hope that I address you today as we mark this significant milestone in our ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS. For three and a half decades, AIDSWALK Tucson has been a beacon of resilience, compassion, and unity. We have witnessed the ever-evolving landscape of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and throughout it all, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to support those affected, raise awareness, and work towards a world without AIDS. As we reflect on the journey that has brought us to this point, we must remember and honor the countless individuals who have dedicated their time, energy, and passion to our cause. From the early days of uncertainty to the groundbreaking advancements in research and treatment, Tucson has demonstrated unwavering strength and solidarity. This 35th anniversary of AIDSWALK Tucson is not only a moment to celebrate our past achievements but also an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the mission ahead. We recognize that the fight against HIV/AIDS is far from over, and there is still much work to be done. Together, we can continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those affected by this disease and strive towards a future where HIV/AIDS is a thing of the past.
