Arctic Race

12 00-14 00 Town hall of Kautokeino

When the Arctic Race bike contest is conducted in Kautokeino, it is guaranteed to be a big happening. We are inviting everyone to go with us to the town hall to participate in the events. Arctic Race will publish an additional program for this event.

Hiking Trip With The Director

The bus leaves outside Diehtosiida at 16:30

The director of Sámi University of Applied Sciences, Anne Marie Gaino, is going on a walking trip with the students and staff to Fárppaljávri nature trail. The bus is taking us to Suohpatjávri camping where we start the walking trip to Fárppaljávri nature trail. The bus leaves outside Diehtosiida building at 16.30 and we are back at Diehtosiida parking lot at around 18.30.

Stands In The Hallway

Different institutions and organizations are having stands where they share information about what they have to offer. Feel free to drop by and get to know more about them and their organizations, perhaps you will find something interesting to do on your spare time, or as a volunteer.

Opening Of The Student House

12.00-14.00 Studenthouse

The students have been waiting some time for their studenthouse, and now they have finally got it. It is located in the red house by the parking lot, where you can also find the offices of the National centre for Sámi languages in Education The opening will be celebrated with cake, entertainment and speeches. There will also be a chance to hear more about the processes to come for the student house. There will be served pizza, sodas, cake and coffee

Student Party

The students have finally gotten their student house, and they will continue the celebration in the studenthouse in the evening. The student board have arranged for a social event where you get to know your fellow students. Open for students.
