COMPANY OVERVIEW Legacy Horizontal Drilling (Legacy HD) provides horizontal directional drilling services for underground utility installations throughout the Southeast. With experience across water, sewer, natural gas, power, fiber, and communications infrastructure, Legacy HD specializes in completing complex underground crossings while minimizing disruption to surrounding roadways, properties, and operations. Our team has successfully completed HDD installations in a wide range of ground conditions and project environments, including rock, congested urban corridors, interstate crossings, waterways, active facilities, and other sensitive locations. This experience allows our team to evaluate each crossing individually and develop an approach based on ground conditions, utility requirements, constructability, safety, and schedule. Legacy HD’s experience ranges from individual specialty crossings to multi-bore utility installations. Our work includes large-diameter water mains, steel and HDPE gas lines, power and fiber installations, sewer infrastructure, traffic signal systems, and long-distance rock bores. The team has successfully completed directional bores beneath every interstate in the Atlanta area without incident. At Legacy HD, quality work and strong relationships go hand in hand. We approach every project with a focus on safety, planning, communication, and dependable execution, working closely with contractors, utility providers, and project teams to deliver each installation safely and efficiently.
