Virtual Rye Y

Wherever you go, the Y is there!

Our Virtual Y site is free to all members and includes access to over 2 dozen live Zoom classes weekly as well as a full library of recorded classes.

Community Health Open to the community.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA: a FREE twelve-week, small group program designed for adult cancer survivors.

YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program: helps high-risk adults prevent Type 2 Diabetes through healthy eating, increased physical activity and weight loss.

Walk With Ease: a structured 6-week walking program.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY From the financial assistance that keeps the Y affordable for all, to the initiatives that foster stronger communities, the spirit of social responsibility infuses every aspect of our work.

Our Y CARES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM allows us to keep a powerful promise to the communities we serve: no one will be turned away from a Y program or activity for financial reasons.

SAFETY AROUND WATER is a free Y program that gives young children the confidence and skills to stay safe in and around water.

TOGETHERHOOD involves volunteers of all ages in community service projects outside the walls of the Y. Join the Togetherhood Committee or volunteer at a service project.

COMING IN SPRING 2022 The Studios at the Rye YMCA will be a vibrant, state-of-the-art facility that will bring four unique fitness studios together under one roof, allowing members to take group exercise classes; work out with a personal trainer; and improve their health with our chronic disease prevention programs. Located at 1037 Boston Post Road, the Y Studios is a quick walk from 21 Locust Avenue and has its own parking.

The new studio will include: • Four modern and inviting studios for yoga, group exercise, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), indoor cycling and personal training • A meeting room with a kitchenette for events; chronic disease prevention classes; and healthy living workshops, lectures and cooking demonstrations • A Child Watch center, where kids can play while their parent or caregiver works out.
