Ages 16+ REGISTRATION Are you a new member or an established member of the Rye Y who wants to know more about the Fitness Center, our pools or learn more about our health and wellness and swim classes? As part of your membership benefits, you are invited to schedule a free orientation. Appointments can be scheduled at your convenience by calling the designated director. 15 MINUTE SWIM ASSESSMENTS

Not sure how your stroke is doing or what you should be focusing on during your workout in the pool? Have a swim coach do a 15 minute assessment of your swimming and discuss different ideas and helpful hints that can improve your workout. Members are limited to 2 free assessments a year. Please sign up at least 1 day prior to assessment at the Member Services Desk. Members only: FREE

REGISTRATION Ages 12+ You’ve joined the Y. You’ve made yourself a commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle. It all begins with knowing where to start. New Members are eligible for a very special first timers personal training package. Within 60 days of joining, you can purchase a 3-pack of 30 minute sessions with one of our personal trainers. BASIC TRAINING

Ages 16+ Foundations of strength training with resistance exercises using free weights and your own body weight. Build overall strength and endurance. All levels welcome. 4-12 participants. Monday & Wednesday: 10:30 am-11:15 am Member $145; Non-Member: $190

boxing with larry

Ages 16+ Learn proper step by step technique and form with Coach Larry Jones. Classes will include heavy bag work, pad training, agility, coordination and stamina strengthening. If you have your own gloves and wraps please bring to class. Limited to 5-10 participants. Sunday: 3:30-4:15 pm Member $80; Non-Member: $105

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING

Ages 16+ Designed for people who are looking for intensity and challenge; this class offers vigorous moves that will build both strength and endurance. The full body routines will keep you constantly moving, gaining endurance and burning calories. Not recommended for beginners. 4-12 participants NEW! Build your own class to meet your fitness needs and schedule. Mix and match the days and times that work for you. Take 1, 2, 3 or more classes. EARLY MORNING Boot Camp

Ages 16+ Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body. From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! Students will work hard to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.
