VALUE PROPOSITION CONCEPT CLIENTS

This conceptual initiation aims to promote the love of music, infusing music as part of the activities and the growth of young and old musicians. The design seeks fluidity and freedom by creating inspiring spaces that foster the cultivation of music-making and appreciation.

The design proposal offers a collaboration opportunity with music circles and lovers to advocate an accessible music industry in Singapore by providing facilities for the learning, production, and enjoyment of music.

Raining Exterior Perspective

This perspective depicts a view from the front, looking at this building at a human level. The rain and dark atmosphere of the image helps to show how this building would look during the monsoon season in Singapore.

Interior Perspective

These interior perspectives help to show how these walkways and corridors and not just for commuting but can be used for a myriad of activities, which include but are not limited to busking, watching performances, and meeting up with friends.

The first image from the left illustrates a view from the 1st storey cafe, towards the stage area. The middle image depicts a view from the 3rd storey, also facing the stage area with the acoustic rooms in view. Lastly, the 3rd image portrays a view from the 2nd storey lift lobby, towards the open courtyard to promote busking.

The first image from the left portrays a view from the Registry of Marriage (ROM) building at eye level. This perspective shows a side entrance from which visitors can enter easily. The second image from the left shows a perspective of the roof storey, which is accessible via the lift and from Fort Canning directly. The wooden louvers help to mitigate the harshness of the sunlight at the roof level, together with the greenery.

Outdoor Perspective Stage

Instead of having generic seating spaces for the stage area, people could stand around the corridors and watch young musicians play. This helps to save space and mitigates the space being separated. The stage is also located at the center of the site, which attracts people from all directions to the stage for an audience.
