The Boathouse situates itself within the vibrant urban context of Austin’s highly active Hike & Bike Trail and Lady Bird Lake. Understanding the logistics of the sport of rowing, and the many different facets that are at play throughout the day, it was important to design a space that welcomed rowers of all levels of experience and ambition. To that end, this project aims to engage the larger public presence alongside its commitment to the rowing community.
