Letter from the Editor

The wonder of color and how it surrounds us so beautifully

in our everyday lives inspires me in every moment. Color is an essential element of design, bringing life to what we and catching our eye in with its flare. For Spring and Summer 2018, this report holds color ways from the brights and tones that nature’s terrains astound us with to the darker and deeper colors that we see in architecture and wildlife. These hues will be utilized by fashion designers to compliment the silhouettes of garments and accessories for the consumer in the upcoming Spring/Summer Collections of 2018.

Cliff Edge The colors of Cliff Edge are inspired by the most dreamy summer days. From diving off the cliff’s rocks high above into the crystal blue ocean to exploring the charming coastal city streets, a summer holiday is full of heavenly blue and white brights and the gorgeous light that captures them.

Cabin Tones Cabin tones is inspired by the faint yet beautiful colors of the summer season. The green foliage surrounds us as we make our way into the woods and the mountains to explore the outdoors. The mineral colored rocks are there to support us on our climb as we hike, and the warmth of the suns white rays energize us.
