Energy born of an encounter Innovation gains value when it succeeds in creating connections that are able to link different skills and—above all—when it is transformed into solutions capable of meeting real market needs. This is exactly the evolution path taken by MCE.

“Energy is Evolving. Infinitely.” is not merely the slogan for the upcoming edition of Mostra Convegno Expocomfort. In fact, it conveys a vision of innovation as a continuous process driven by the cross-pollination of ideas and the ability to adapt to changing scenarios. Energy is evolving not only through technology but also through people, so that the true value of an event like MCE lies in its ability to foster relationships and fuel dialogue, creating the conditions for new opportunities to take shape.
MCE 2028: THE EVOLUTION OF ENERGY MEETS THE MARKET
Our responsibility is certainly that of providing a space where innovations can be displayed and appreciated but also facilitating contact with the people who will design and install them—and, ultimately, turn them into value. This is where an exhibition makes a difference. Not just by showcasing technologies capable of innovating the sector, but by helping create the conditions for that change to be understood and shared.

A market driven by integration demands new connections between technologies and expertise. MCE 2028 promotes this evolution, opening up new perspectives
MCE 2028:
The evolution of energy meets the market The place where the market meets. A forum fostering new opportunities. This is the role of MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, an event that is able to connect the ecosystem consisting of HVAC+R, energy and water management technologies. It is an event where technological offerings meet the professionals and decision-makers involved in the various stages of the value chain, from design and distribution to installation and management. MCE 2028 is built around the theme “Energy is Evolving. Infinitely.” This reflects a scenario where technological evolution no longer follows separate paths but leads to growing integration among different systems, transforming the way buildings and infrastructures are designed and managed. MCE provides a meeting point between this evolution and the people tasked with trans2
forming it into concrete solutions. Designers, engineers, distributors, buyers, installers, energy managers and professionals from the industrial and service sectors: the wide range of figures involved makes this event a forum capable of connecting suppliers with buyers, fostering dialogue on available technologies and their applications. As part of its ongoing evolution, MCE 2028 further expands its scope by introducing three new focus areas to address key development trends: • Building Repower, dedicated to property refurbishment and upgrading; • Refrigeration Hub, highlighting refrigeration technologies and their latest applications; • Water Solutions, focusing on efficient water resource management and the evolution of water and system technologies. N.24 - OCTOBER 2026
THREE FOCUS AREAS, ONE GOAL
BUILDING REPOWER
New energy for buildings. Upgrading the building stock means improving efficiency, performance and value through the evolution of existing systems and technologies. Building Repower highlights solutions to revitalize buildings through an open and technologically inclusive approach.
• Heating • Cooling • High-efficiency systems • Hybrid solutions • Components • Controls • Renewable gases • System integration

MCE 2028
Three pathways, a single integrated vision to address the challenges of today and tomorrow
WATER SOLUTIONS Every drop counts.
Efficiency, quality, safety and reuse are transforming the way water is managed in buildings. Water Solutions connects technologies and expertise for smarter, more efficient and sustainable water management.
• Water Treatment • Efficiency • Reuse • Monitoring • Distribution • Smart Water Management
REFRIGERATION HUB
The new forum dedicated to refrigeration.
Refrigeration is becoming increasingly strategic for industry, the food sector, retail, logistics and new applications. Refrigeration Hub creates a dedicated ecosystem at MCE connecting technologies and expertise with the market.
• Industrial Refrigeration • Commercial Refrigeration • Components • Refrigerants • Controls • Cold Chain

Three pathways aligned with the vision of an event increasingly focused on linking technologies with expertise across the various market segments, supporting the evolution of energy and systems toward new integration possibilities. BUILDING REPOWER NEW ENERGY FOR BUILDINGS The existing building stock represents a key area for projects aimed to limit energy consumption and improve building performance. Renovation does not necessarily entail the total replacement of systems; instead, it can be achieved through gradual upgrades that leverage the existing systems thanks to design solutions that keep usage conditions and energy needs into consideration. Building Repower focuses on the evolution of existing buildings, which must meet increasingly complex demands, such as greater efficiency, lower resource consumption, integration of renewable sources, performance monitoring and the ability to adapt to new energy carriers and systems.

This approach combines technical solutions through on-site connectivity - integrating high-efficiency heating systems, solutions for summer and winter comfort, components, BMS (Building Management Systems) and EMS (Energy Management Systems) without any single technology limiting the others. Building Repower then offers an opportunity to compare established technologies with new solutions, highlighting practical methods for the upgrade of existing buildings. The goal is to provide designers, installers and all industry professionals with a clearer picture of the options available for improving building performance and efficiency, while remaining open to different technological strategies. REFRIGERATION HUB A NEW FORUM FOR THE REFRIGERATION SECTOR Refrigeration plays an increasingly strategic role across numerous manufacturing and service sectors. Industries such as food processing, retail, logistics and pharmaceuticals

rely on systems capable of ensuring operational continuity, environmental control and energy efficiency. In addition to these areas, emerging applications, such as data centers, are driving the demand for solutions capable of managing increasingly high thermal loads.
Water Solutions - the third key focus area at MCE 2028 - will showcases technologies that foster more efficient and responsible water resource management by establishing new connections between environmental needs, system performance and the new opportunities unlocked by digitalization.
Refrigeration Hub offers a dedicated track at MCE 2028 focusing on the evolution of refrigeration technologies. The scope encompasses industrial and commercial refrigeration, along with components, next-generation refrigerants ensuring lower environmental impact, control systems and cold chain management technologies. It represents an ecosystem highlighting how refrigeration system design now requires an increasingly integrated approach where performance, reliability, energy management and operational continuity must be considered a common goal.
This approach is based on two closely linked needs, that is preserving water as a resource and managing it efficiently once it enters the technical systems.
The evolution of energy-intensive infrastructures is also expanding the scope of refrigeration technologies. At data centers, for instance, refrigeration is becoming a part of the energy management of a infrastructures consisting of high-efficiency HVAC systems, advanced cooling technologies and thermal energy recovery plants. This evolution is leading the refrigeration industry to address new demands, even through a greater integration with other energy systems. WATER SOLUTIONS EVERY DROP COUNTS Water is an essential resource for life and industrial activity, yet it is also a critical factor in the operation of numerous technical systems. The growing pressure on water resources, combined with the effects of climate change, calls for new ways of managing the entire water cycle by addressing consumption, distribution, treatment and reuse. N.24 - OCTOBER 2026
MCE 2028 places innovation at the heart of the challenges brought by the energy and environmental transition, creating value for the entire value chain On the one hand, therefore, there are solutions capable of reducing consumption and waste - also through monitoring systems that enable more accurate analysis - facilitating the timely identification of inefficiencies and leaks, as well as a more conscious management of resources. On the other hand, water plays a key role in the technical systems used in civil and industrial sectors. Here, through careful engineering, the components and control systems help ensure water reliability and quality, meeting the specific needs of buildings and production processes. Added to these two themes is the concept of reuse, which extends the resource’s lifecycle through treatment and recovery solutions. 5
