PRIMUS INTER PARES (Rem: Dela Crème) By MERICIBEACOUP JOSEPH S.5 ARTS WISDOM
ACQUIRE WISDOM FROM ELDERS.
My child, listen when your father corrects you Don’t neglect your mother’s instructions What you learn from them will grace you with grace.
And be a chain of honor around your neck My child don’t join bad groups Don’t go along with them Stay away from their paths They rush to commit evil deeds They hurry to commit murder If a bird sees a trap being set, It knows to stay away.

THE WRIGHT PROTHERS
For hundreds of years, People dreamt of flying through the air like birds, many tried but died. But on December 17,1903, Orville and Wilbur wright’s flying machine lifted from the ground in 12 seconds. Orville flew about the width of a football field. Using an engine, the 600-pound (270-kilogram) air craft could take off and land. Orville and Wilbur had made dreams come true! They had proved that humans could fly! In AD 875 a Muslim doctor in Spain tried to fly, he attached artificial feathers to his body and glided for a little while, but then crushed! And in 1678 a French man by the names of Jacob Besnier tried also to fly like the pigeons. He strapped wings to his arms and jumped from a high window. He fell straight down. The wings only helped him land safely! In 1895, Wilbur wrote to a museum, the smith Sonian Institution asking for a flying information. He wanted to read everything he would find out about flying.
Wilbur concluded that a flying machine needed three things 1. Curved wings 2. A form of power 3. A way to balance and control it
Then it was time to build a source of power! The brothers searched for a light engine. They could not find one anywhere, so they decided to build one themselves. They started to make a machine and the new machine was ready shortly, Orville and Wilbur asked the men from beach patrol to help them, they set up the starting track. The track was laid to guide the air craft during takeoff and Wilbur won a coin toss to fly the craft. But it never left the ground because a small part got damaged. Next, it was Orville’s turn to fly and he felt excited to fly again. The brother ignored the cold and windy weather of December 17-1903 and flew successfully!
NEXT TIME YOU SEE LEMONS, REMEMBER!

An elderly man was on his last breath. He was barely able to speak but just mumbling “lemons, lemons” All the family members around him didn’t know what he was meaning. “Is this old asking for lemons? But what can he do with lemons at this stage?” A family member wondered.
Shortly the man passed on. The family members bought a lot of lemons for hospitality. After a few years, the family agreed to sell the old man’s land to an engineer. The engineer pulled out the house to construct a flat. As graders were levelling the land sold, they found various treasure box under the lemon trees with diamonds, silver and gold inside. One of the nearby neighbors took note of it and informed the family of the deceased. The family demanded for the treasure box but the engineer refused to give it. The family even took the engineer to court but the case was ruled out in the favour of the engineer. What a shame it was! Was that what the old man meant when he mumbled “lemons, lemons?” Even his grandson who had played cricket several times under the lemon trees did not understand what he meant.
Therefore, you have to believe in yourself. Out of a thousand billion people living in the planet, you have a unique gift deep in you and it is upon you to explore deeply. Discover your gift by digging out the dirt of self-doubt, dirt of conformism, the dirt of idiocy and try to be yourself to achieve your goal.

“Religion is necessary to reason as reason is to religion. The other one cannot exist without the other.

Good leaders are not to take science or art! It takes following certain steps to become a good leader The first is to identify what the content of leadership is and the qualities you need to possess. What makes one a good leader in one company may not apply in another. This fundamental aspect of leadership, if followed, will make you the best leader wherever you are for instance, although you drive a car, you may not be able to repair or service it. So when you need this services, you hand your car over to a mechanic because he is a leader in that field. The second step in becoming an excellent leader is to abandon the traditional topdown approach to managing people. In it give it to their team and check to see if desired effect occurs and if not, issue more order. Allow your team to do what they do best without unnecessarily nagging and hovering over them with instructions on what to do and and how to do it. Thirdly, as a leader, it’s imperative that you lead by example. Wherever a leader goes. The team follows a leader supports by providing a vision, getting things done through people or challenging the the staff.
