Hauz kaus created a bridge between newly developed Delhi, a well designed urban city and the urban fabric of the old city. The place exhibited a distinct transition between the new and old Delhi, the students get the magic of the past to present. The old part of the sultanate period was built like a maze and the small tunnels through the walls were like a secret base.

The Lotus Temple is an edifice dedicated to the Baha’i faith. The magnificent structure of this building unfolds in the form of a stupendous white petal lotus inspired the students in its exploration of the form and the way the materials were used to construct a timeless marvel which stands as an iconic structure of the city.
