The Shantymen Concert or Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal

St Peter ’s Church, Sheringham Sat 11th March doors open 7pm, performance 7:30pm Free entry - with retiring collection

The Sheringham Shantymen have raised hundreds of thousands for the RNLI and other charity organisations since they formed in 1990.

In 2022 they raised nearly £5000 for Ukraine with a charity performance in St Peter ’s Church, Sheringham and are hoping to repeat that success in early March with a performance in aid of the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal.

With a blend of sea-shanties and well-known folk songs the Shantymen promise an entertaining evening with a retiring collection, entry is free During the interval there will be refreshments and an auction to raise further funds for the appeal with some unique lots on offer including a 30 minute private helicopter flight along the North Norfolk coast for two people, a large framed print by local photographer & Shantyman Chris Taylor (signed on the reverse by all of the current Shantymen), a guided fly-fishing trip for trout on the River Glaven (with lunch) and more

Hedgehog Haven

Mc Fluffy, has a case of mites, he has had some medication & is now having coconut oil dabbed onto his skin every day He doesn’t like it very much, but it has to be done. Mites can spread so it is vital that his bedding is changed every day

There is a fundraising Prize Bingo in aid of Hedgehog Haven being held on Saturday 1st April in St Benets Hall doors open 6 30 eyes down at 7pm all welcome
