Georgia Tech Collegiate Panhe is home to eight National Panhe Conference Chapters and one Chapter. All chapters work clo and with CPC to support one a on-campus activities, like phila events, and in supporting all m CPC community

Values Based Recruitment: GT CPC advocates for a values-based recruitment experience, one that is a reflection of both GT Panhellenic values and the personal values of each PNM.This approach to sorority recruitment ensures an unbiased and fair experience for all PNMs, and allows for our Panhellenic chapters to recruit members who identify with their founding values. It also encourages intentional conversation among current members and PNMs as well as clear indications of membership expectations and other standards so that PNMs are able to make informed decisions throughout the recruitment process.
Before recruitment begins, we encourage PNMs to identify their own personal values and then reflect on the importance of joining an organization of women whose values go hand in hand

Sisterhood:
CPC at Georgia Tech allows for members to be surrounded by empowering individuals of all different majors and ages. One of the recurring themes spoken about throughout recruitment is sisterhood. It is a life-changing bond formed between individuals within our community and within each chapter. Our community prides itself on having chapters that support the activities of one another.
Academics:
Our CPC community understands that academics should be a student’s main focus; therefore, numerous resources are offered to enhance a new member’s academic experience. Academic support goes hand-in-hand with career opportunities and connections. Whether it be pursuing an internship opportunity abroad or considering a new major on campus CPC members are supported throughout their academic experience.
average GPA:
Panhellenic Average GPA: 3.62
Individuals within our community enjoy the opportunity to take part in social events planned by their individual chapters. Social events make sure our members are able to take a break from the rigor of school and make memories with their sisters. These events are also the perfect way to meet new people while having a special occasion to explore all that Atlanta has to offer. involvement:
The CPC community is filled with members from all different areas of campus, allowing our members to be introduced to countless organizations on campus that are able to compliment their experience. Our members are encouraged to follow their unique passions to find organizations that help them pursue their interests and grow as individuals and future professionals.
Philanthropy: Being involved in CPC provides a valuable opportunity to make an impact within our surrounding Atlanta community. Each chapter supports a specific philanthropic organization and is passionate about raising funds and increasing awareness through community-wide philanthropy events and chapter activities. Additionally, the CPC community supports Circle of Sisterhood, a national philanthropy that provides support for women’s education across the globe.
Undergraduate Female GPA: 3.5

Primary recruitment is conducted by the eight National Panhellenic Council chapters within our CPC community. It takes place each August prior to the start of the fall semester. All Primary Recruitment logistics, invitations, and rules are overseen and organized by the CPC Executive Board, the CPC Recruitment Board, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the designated Recruitment Counselors. The recruitment process allows for all PNMs who are registered for Primary Recruitment to visit each sorority and have conversations with current members.
There is a non-refundable fee of $60 to register, which covers the administrative costs of recruitment and a Panhellenic shirt to wear during Open House Round. A scholarship is available to waive all fees and any potential new member is eligible to apply. The fees will be required to pay upon registering for formal recruitment and will be reimbursed upon winning.
Format for recruitment: For Fall 2026, we will be following the inperson Primary Recruitment format. We will proceed with the virtual recruitment or hybrid recruitment contingency plan in accordance with CDC and Georgia Tech guidelines, as was implemented during Primary Recruitment in 2020-2022 for PNMs with excused in-person absences.

The selection process for joining a sorority is a “mutual selection” process. At the end of each day of recruitment, PNMs will rank the chapters that they would prefer to return to and chapters will extend invitations to individuals who could be a good fit in their respective chapter. PNMs will have the opportunity to discuss their decisions with Recruitment Counselors at the end of each day. continuous open bidding: Continuous open bidding (COB) occurs after Primary Recruitment in the Fall and at the beginning of the Spring semester. The intent of COB is to provide maximum opportunities for membership to the greatest number of women who did not join a chapter during Primary Recruitment. It often comprises of coffee dates, lunch meet-ups, and chapter events that a chapter may invite a PNM to! Not all chapters will participate in COB, and there are limited spots in chapters that do.To be eligible for COB, a PNM must not have signed a Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA) during Primary Recruitment.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where all members feel valued and respected. We believe that diversity enriches our sisterhood, broadens our perspectives, and strengthens our community. Our recruitment practices are designed to embrace individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
Every PNM has an equal opportunity to join our sisterhood. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status. Our recruitment process includes training for all members on unconscious bias and inclusive recruitment practices. We strive to ensure that every PNM is evaluated based on their character, potential, and alignment with respective sorority values.
Need Accommodations or Just Want to Talk?
We acknowledge that DEI-related concerns can sometimes be difficult to bring up during the recruitment process, however, we are committed to ensuring this process is most equitable for all who choose to participate. If you need accommodations, have any questions, or simply want to talk about DEIrelated concerns, please reach out to us We are here to support you and can refer you to the appropriate resources on campus.

counselors
A recruitment counselor is a temporarily disaffiliated member who is assigned to PNMs to help guide them through the recruitment process. She acts as a guide to PNMs and gives unbiased advice to PNMs as they go through recruitment. Two RCs are assigned to a group of 17-20 during Primary Recruitment A PNM will be contacted by her RC prior to recruitment orientation and after a PNM has registered.

She will meet with her PNMs every morning to open a PNM’s daily schedule and every evening to submit a PNM’s preferences. An RC is a resource for PNMs to answer questions, talk about their decisions, and overall support a PNM through the recruitment process.

Feel free to look up the chapter websites and Instagram accounts before this round to get a little background information on each chapter.

At each chapter, you will be learning about their philanthropies and passions. This is a great day to expect to talk about things you are also passionate about! Alongside philanthropy, each chapter is prepared to answer questions about financial concerns. Greek life can get expensive, so feel free to ask questions regarding. dues, meals, and payment plan options

tips and tricks: This day you might visit up to six houses so it is important to wear comfortable shoes and take notes in between each party. Feel free to ask questions about how chapter members support their philanthropies and any questions you may have about chapter fees and dues what to wear: Round 2 is casual and cute attire.Wear clothes that you would wear to a picnic with friends or a walk around the city! Nicer sneakers, sandals, flats, or other nicer shoes without a heel are appropriate for Round 2..

questions to consider:

Sisterhood is the third round of recruitment where you may attend up to four houses for 40 minute parties. This round is all about potential new members getting to experience the true essence of sisterhood within a sorority through deeper and more intentional conversations.
Sisterhood round is about finding a sense of belonging and discovering a sisterhood that aligns with your own values and aspirations. During this round, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and activities that showcase the values, traditions, and bonds that make each sorority unique. You can anticipate meeting passionate and supportive sisters who are eager to share their experiences and create connections.

tips and tricks: This round typically includes a facility tour at each house you attend. Because of this, many potential new members opt to wear sandals, flats, or wedges as opposed to high heels since you can expect to walk up several sets of stairs in addition to the distance between houses. If you do choose to wear heels, feel free to bring a change of walking shoes in your bag to wear when walking in between houses.
Round 3 is nice and cute attire, one step nicer than Round 2 attire.Wear clothes that you would wear to a nice meal with your family, or a family member’s graduation ceremony. Skirts, dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, or nice pants and shirt are recommended. Sandals, flats, platforms, wedges, or other nicer shoes with or without a heel are appropriate for Round 3. Keep in mind you will still be walking long distances, so we recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes for inbetween parties.

questions to consider:

Do I think I could be my authentic self around the members of this chapter? What does sisterhood mean to me? How does each chapter define and describe their sisterhood?
What actions do these members take to continuously build and strengthen their sisterhood?
How would these individuals be able to help me transition through college?

Preference round is the final round of recruitment. This round you may attend one or two houses for 55 minute parties each. This round is a reflection of the deep connections and strong bonds that sororities cherish. These events typically involve sharing personal stories, rituals, and traditions that are unique to each sorority.
During the preference round of recruitment, you can anticipate a more intimate and heartfelt experience as you narrow down your choices to one or two sororities. Expect a serene and inviting atmosphere as you attend preference events, which are often held in elegant settings. Some chapters may also have ceremonies specific to their chapter rituals. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with current members and gain a deeper understanding of
the sorority’s values and sisterhood. The Preference round is a time for reflection and introspection as you consider which sorority resonates with your own values, goals, and aspirations. It’s a time to listen to your intuition and make a decision that feels right for you.
what to wear:
Preference Round is nice and fancy attire, and is the dressiest of all the rounds! Wear clothes that you would wear as a guest to a wedding or to a “cocktail attire” event. Heeled shoes or dress shoes are appropriate for Preference Round since you will be attending a maximum of 2 houses this day. Just like Round 3, we recommend comfortable walking shoes for when you are

questions to consider:
Can I truly envision myself spending time with these individuals? Can I see myself being in the same new member class as them?
Have I had interesting and intriguing conversations with these members over the last four days? Why have I wanted to come back to this chapter? Why have these people chosen to join and stay in their chapter? Which house will best challenge me to grow and prosper while also supporting me at all times? What makes this chapter special? Do I feel seen here?

Bid Day marks the culmination of the recruitment process where you will find out which house you have been invited to join. Expect a vibrant and energetic atmosphere filled with cheers, laughter, and joy as new members like yourself find their new homes within the Greek community. Bid day is often filled with fun activities, such as games, photo booths, and bonding opportunities, allowing new members to connect with their fellow recruits and current members of the organization. It is a memorable celebration that symbolizes the beginning of lifelong friendships and the start of an incredible journey within the Georgia Tech Panhellenic community. Since the colors and themes of Bid Day are a surprise for new members after they receive their bid, we recommend wearing comfortable, neutral bottoms and undergarments that can work with any shirt.

Four C’s: In general, when picking your recruitment outfits try to stick to the 4 C’s: cute, casual, comfortable, and confident. As the rounds progress, your outfits will get slightly nicer, although as a whole Georgia Tech’s recruitment process is more casual than many other schools’. Recruitment is long each day, so being comfortable in what you wear is the most important. Lastly, everyone’s personal style is different, and chapters want to see what makes you unique! If you feel stylish and confident in what you are wearing, then it will show in your conversations with members.Wear what you are most comfortable in!
Accessories: Also, there is no specific guidance when it comes to makeup and accessories as we understand that people wear makeup and accessories in a wide range; think to yourself how you would prepare your makeup, hair and accessories for the example locations and events given below for each round. If you wear makeup everyday, then wear your everyday makeup on Round 1! If you never wear makeup, then don’t put any on for Preference Round!

The Basics:
Alpha Omega Epsilon is an associate chapter that is a part of Georgia Tech’s CPC community and is a social/professional sorority. We are a smaller chapter averaging around 50 active members which allows us to have a tight-knit community of women passionate about STEM, but all majors and all year levels are welcome to recruitment. Our three main values are Professionalism, Leadership, and Friendship.
Other info:
In order to be eligible for an interview, you must have attended one info night, and as many of our recruitment events as possible (we will take attendance into account). However, if there are any time conflicts- don’t worry!- just please reach out to our Director of Recruitment as early as possible and we’ll work it out for you. We have no application fees for our recruitment process, but if you are extended a bid and accept, you will have to pay our dues.

Over the summer, take the time to fill out our interest form on our website. That way, a sister will reach out to contact you and give you some more information/answer any questions you may have! In the meantime, feel free to reach out to our Director of Recruitment at recruitment.gtaoe@gmail.com. You can also browse our recruitment page on our website or instagram for more information.
The next step would be to attend one of our info nights! Only attending one of these is required, and it’ll be a casual night (no dress code) to get to know us a little better and meet us for the first time! You’ll also learn more about what recruitment and candidacy look like, and also what it would look like to be an active member.
Then we have our four recruitment events: professional night, leadership night, friendship night, and lastly, interview night for eligible PNMs only. Each night has a different dress code, but don’t worry too much about them! They’re just to make the nights more fun, so try and come in whatever you have access to.
To learn more about each of the recruitment nights and what eligibility entails, please check the page on our website. Also, if you’d like to read more about what it would look like to be a candidate and member, check out our mini guide on AΩE.

questions to consider:
What are my values? Which of my values and traits are most important to me in selecting a sorority to join? Does this chapter’s values align with mine?
Did I enjoy the conversations that I had today? What did I like about them? Was I being myself when having these conversations? Was I comfortable being myself with these people? Why, or why not?
What do I think I want to get out joining a sorority? What are my expectations of the sorority experience? What do I want to achieve during my time at Georgia Tech? How can these people help me achieve that?
Can I envision myself spending time and growing with these people? Why, or why not?
Dates are TBD
