Atlanta, Georgia

Project Location Atlanta is rich in culture and history. It is the home of the Civil Rights movement in America, the busiest airport in the world, a diverse musical heritage, the largest aquarium in the world, and much more. Atlanta's culture and historical roots are all evident in colorful street murals and graffiti. Atlanta-based artists create a strong sense of community and identity for the city and its people.

Art + s s e n l l e W Street art builds a sense of community, embraces diversity, and makes spaces feel more welcoming (Parolek 2014). Through art we can express authenticity, encourage good mood, creativity, motivation and productivity (Baybina 2016). Art and color can have positive physiological, biological, psychological and aesthetic functions within a space (Barybina 2016).
