Tournament Format

27 Holes (3-9 Hole Events)

1st Nine - Scramble

2nd Nine - Modified Chapman

3rd Nine - Combined Net

In the Scramble event, 15% of the lower players handicap + 10% of the higher players handicap for a team handicap.

In the Modified Chapman format, 30% of the lower players handicap + 20% of the higher players handicap for a team handicap.

Modified Chapman - Both players tee off. Player A plays Player B’s tee shot and vice versa. After both players second shots, the team must decide which ball to complete the hole playing alternate shot. If Player A last hit the selected ball, it would be Player B’s turn.

In the Combined Net event, players will receive 50% of their actual handicap on each nine. Half shots apply.

All play will be from the II tees.

Exception: Any player whose handicap is established from a set of tees other than II Tees, may choose to play those tees and have their handicap adjusted accordingly, must let us know prior to the start of the event.

Shootout

There will be a Shootout to determine the Overall Champion. If you win an event in your flight, you automatically get into the Shootout. The team with the highest Overall point total to not win an event, makes the Shootout.

Each flight will have 4 teams make the Shootout. The format will be true alternate shot and you will be competing against the teams in your flight on the first two holes. Two teams will be eliminated on the first hole (from your flight), and then a final team on the second hole (from your flight).

The final hole (#18), will feature a team from each flight to determine the Overall Champion.

Ties will be broken by a chip off from a designated spot chosen by a member of the Professional Staff. Combined distance will determine the winner. Shots apply where they fall.
