The Ruth Eckerd Hall Experience is getting bigger and better. Over the past few years, as part of our Expanding the Experience $32 Million Capital Campaign, our members and patrons have helped us successfully renovate the Capitol Theatre - a beloved Downtown Clearwater landmark, the Murray Theatre - the crown jewel of our Education program and the Margarete Heye Great Room - an elegant space where life’s special moments can be celebrated. As we move into the final stages of this campaign, you will see many renovations. You will experience a whole new approach to Ruth Eckerd Hall as we expand from four to six traffic lanes. A beautiful new marquee will welcome you and gorgeous new outdoor spaces will invite you to enjoy your entire experience. Then next year, ground will be broken on dramatic renovations to the West Lobby, including the addition of a cabaret stage for pre-show performances, as well as a fabulous new expanded Dress Circle Lounge. More improvements will include a new arrival plaza, renovations to the box office including a protective cover from the elements as well as upgrades to the concourse and galleries. Together, these improvements will help ensure Ruth Eckerd Hall continues to grow and change lives for generations to come.
