COACHMAN PA R K PAV I L I O N The priority for downtown Clearwater is to fully utilize the beautiful waterfront through enhanced and increased visitation by locals and tourists. The benefits will accrue to merchants, citizens and the overall economy.

Economic studies have shown that the Tampa Bay region is a very competitive market that requires Clearwater to be strategic in how it sets itself apart, to be successful.

We have the opportunity to create the premier event venue that is unique from all Tampa Bay downtowns, a state of the art facility that will meet the needs of the market and patrons, and could become Downtown’s Beachwalk.

St. Johns County & St. Augustine Amphitheatre Economic Impact Studies at a glance In 2016, the direct economic impact of a sold-out event at St. Augustine Amphitheatre is $560,000 for 4,092 attendees.

An attendee spent $138 on average, outside of the venue, in relation to the event 74% of attendees were locals. Locals attending events spent $49 per day outside of the venue 26% attendees were visitors. Create a profit source – Based on statistics, 4,000 removable seats for 30 events will equate to approximately $16.5MM spent locally

Impact of jobs – driving hundreds of full time and part-time jobs to the community

Provide increased evening & weekend activity, triggering demand for overnight accommodations as well as increase evening hours for current & new retailers

We have a 35-year proven track record presenting over 400 events annually, including five events at Coachman park in the 2017-18 season with over 20,000 attendees plus annual offsite events throughout Tampa Bay

We will utilize decades of proven partnerships with the City as well as locally & industry-wide, plus our winning combination of booking, marketing & customer service

Since 2012, The Capitol Theatre – #1 Florida Club venue by industry trade publication Pollstar – has been a continuous driver of tens of thousands of people to downtown merchants and has enhanced experiences for locals and tourists as well as being an engine for driving new business to downtown.

Nov 5, 2017 – Voters overwhelmingly passed the referendum at 75.8%, supporting the redevelopment of the downtown waterfront, including the Coachman Park Pavilion
