This comic book was created as a class project in the Science and Management of Contaminated Sites (SMoCS) class at Western Washington University, Huxley College. This is the fifth volume in The Adventures of the Remediators series, which is designed to inform the public about environmental chemistry, toxicology and the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA). This Act is used to clean up contaminated sites in Washington State. We are interested in what you think of this a way of communicating complex scientific and regulatory ideas. In this volume, we focus on the people involved in contaminated site clean-ups. There are bonus interviews with the real people who work on clean-ups in Washington State.
