EDITORIALS Clown Wig is Evil?

by Matt Medeiros The Rutgers University community was abuzz with controversy following the now infamous “Wig Incident” that took place at the College Avenue Student Center Thursday. Barney Barnaby, a Rutgers College sophomore, allegedly injured six students and hospitalized another in a fifteen minute rampage through the atrium, until 3 students managed to tackle and subdue him until the police could arrive and arrest him.

Barnaby’s attorney one Laswell J. Katz, spoke at a press conference earlier today.

“There is no doubt that Barney is guilty of multiple assaults. No one is going to deny that. That cannot be denied. But for those of us who know Barney, this comes as quite a shock. He was always such a nice fellow. His two children love him very much, and his wife of eight years was aghast when she heard of the incident. And in all his thirty years, my client has not been involved in a single physical confrontation. The question now is the reason that Barney attacked those people.” Regardless of the true motive, the centerpiece of the argument became Barnaby’s choice of headwear.

“This is intolerable! The madness has got to stop!” shouted Mildred R. Barnaby’s, trial is scheduled for later this month, Cattleprod has already sworn that UNWIG will have a very strong presence at the courthouse, “To take down the big wigs at WigCorp.”
