Desde la Federación Navarra de Deportes de Montaña y Escalada (FNDME) se ha intentado acometer el diseño más adecuado del recorrido navarro de este GR teniendo en cuenta la humanización actual del territorio e intentando incorporar algún tramo nuevo por sendas para intentar evitar pistas. También se ha tenido en cuenta el nuevo trazado del GR 12 «Sendero de Euskal Herria» así como los diversos enlaces transfronterizos o transpirenaicos denominados GRT y que de oeste a este enlazan en numerosos puntos entre los GR 11 y 12 y el GR 10 francés. Al territorio navarro le competen entre el GRT 3 y el GRT 13. Excepto la tercera etapa, el resto de las etapas terminan en poblaciones con servicios. La presente guía detalla el recorrido del GR 11 por el territorio navarro en las 8 etapas que lo componen, incluidas las variantes existentes, y en la dirección oeste/este.

SENDA PIRENAICA - P Mendi eta Eskalada Kirolen Napar Federakundeak, GR honetarako egokiena den nafar ibilbidea diseinatzen saiatu da, egungo lurraren gizatiartzea kontuan hartuz eta pistak sahiesteko asmoz bidexkeen zehar igarotzen diren tarte berriak gehituz. GR 12 Euskal Herriko Ibilbideko bide berria ere kontuan hartu da, hala nola GRT izeneko mugan zeharko loturak, hau da, mendebaldetik ekialdera hainbat tokitan GR 11 eta 12a frantziar GR 10arekin lotzen dituztenak. GRT 3 eta GRT 13ko artekoak Nafarroari dagozkionak dira. Hirugarren etapa izan ezik, gainerakoak zerbitzuak dituzten herrietan bukatzen dira. PIRINIOETAKO IBILBIDEA À la Fédération Navarraise de Sport de Montagne et Escalade (FNDME), nous avons essayé de dessiner le tracé du parcours navarrais de ce GR le plus adéquat, en tenant compte de l'humanisation actuelle du territoire et en essayant d'incorporer de nouveaux tronçons à travers des sentiers pour essayer d'éviter des pistes. Nous avons aussi tenu compte du nouveau tracé du GR 12 «Sentier de Euskal Herria» ainsi que des différents liens transfrontaliers ou transpyrénéens appelés GRT et qui, d'ouest vers l'est, rejoignent de nombreux points entre les GR 11 et 12 et le GR 10 français. Les tronçons du GRT 3 au GRT 13 sont du ressort du territoire navarrais. Toutes les étapes, excepté la troisième, finissent dans des villes dotées de services. - SENTIER PYRÉNÉEN The Navarrese Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing (FNDME) has tried to arrive at the most suitable design for the Navarrese stretch of this GR, taking the current human development of the territory into account and attempting to include a few new sections of pathway in order to avoid farm tracks. The new route of the GR 12 «Route of the Basque Country» and the different cross-border or Trans-Pyrenean junctions called GRT, which at several points link up with the GR 11 and 12, and the French GR 10 from west to east, were also taken into consideration. The stretch from the GRT 3 to the GRT 13 are the responsibility of Navarre. With the exception of the third, all the stages finish in villages with services.
