KING ARTHUR

Following a difficult year of restrictions, trying to put together a cross-college production was a challenge and one that saw the planned productions postponed until the summer of 2022. With Arthurian spirit, however, it was decided that we would still share something of the play. This would be a selection of scenes from Glasshouse, Argent, Ruskin Mill, Freeman and Plas Dwbl Colleges, that students and staff had been developing.

By coming together to work over a few days, we prepared and shared a ‘preview’; a taster for the production to come. This was performed on Friday 2 July in the Furnace Auditorium at Glasshouse College in Stourbridge, and then to a public audience in the evening.

Over the course of the academic year, the colleges will be busy working the play to a full production, for outdoor locations across the Trust in May and June 2022.
