The wrestling team has had an excellent start to the year. The Jr. High team won the team title at the Lakeview Open Tournament. Top individual finishers were as follows: Gold medals - Ellis Johnson, , Norton Parker, Luca Romano, Mickey McCoy, Jordan Wong, Mehtab Brar. Second place finishers were Alex Mah, Leigh Hauck, Ryan Sherwood and Josh Sherwood. At the Arbour Lake School Coyote Novice
Tour nament, our wrestlers competed very well. Gold medalists were Zach Copp and Brian Kwak. Second place finishers were Nicholas Lamb, Arijit Lodha and Mateo Spoletini. Our third meet was for both our Sr. and Jr. High teams at the Rundle Academy Meet and the team had a fantastic tournament. First place finishers were Tony Terrien, Luc Terrien, Graham Fader, Jolene Wong, Erica Fowler, Michael Lusty, Jordan
Wong, Zach Copp, Luca Romano and Alex Mah. Second place finishers were Owen Vouri, Daniel Krayzel, Lauren Kruger, Tara Osler, Tara Moore, Kirsten Young, Mateo Spoletini, Andrew Sanchez and Ryan Huang. Special congratulations goes out to Jordan Wong who was chosen by all coaches as the Outstanding Male Wrestler of the tournament. Well done, Cobra grapplers!
Senior Spring Production Auditions!
This year’s Senior Spring Production is the classic swashbuckling tale, The Three Musketeers. Auditions are open to all grade 9-12 students and will be held from January 8th-18th, 2013, with performances scheduled May 1-3rd, 2013. Sign up for an
available audition time on the stage door and make sure you pick up a blue audition package from Ms. Snowden. The package contains all of the available roles and detailed rehearsal schedule. Grade 12’s should be sure to sign up for an early audition
before they begin their Diploma exams. Ms. Snowden
