Candy Donation Project Thank you to all of the students & staff who donated their unwanted candy from Halloween! With your help, we collected 54 pounds of candy! Unfortunately, the Children’s Cottage Society was unable to take the candy, but Inn From The Cold gladly accepted it. Thanks again for all of your kind donations!
Last month, all of our grade seven students had a Fine Arts Day at Vertigo Theatre downtown. The morning was spent rotating between different workshops including movement and voice. We also had a technical tour of the facility, including a backstage tour of the current production. The afternoon included an interesting production from Japanese performance artist Kuniko, whose presentation combined origami, folklore, and fable. It was a creative, cultural look at Japan. Overall, we learned a lot about different aspects of theatre and had a valuable and enjoyable day.

Peru Peru draws nearer and nearer! The monthly meetings are starting to evolve from general background and information to more specific microdetails. Items coming up on our agenda include finishing our educational presentations, shopping for clothes and travel items and learning how to pack efficiently, planning the trip T-shirt, and learning about the vaccinations coming up (ouch!). Keep up-to-date with the Peru trip from now through spring break by following @RundleCollegeSH on Twitter!
