Our Canvas

Fall Term 2023
Fall Term 2023
Welcome to the second edition of Our Canvas Magazine. Starting from September 2023, we received numerous artwork and photos from students over the span of four months. Unlike last year, the submissions were not only limited to Upper School students, Lower School students and faculty members could submit as well. In total, we have gathered more than thirty submissions from all around the school!
I hope this edition brings back memories of the fall as we begin to enjoy the Winter Term. Thank you to everyone who submitted their artwork or photos, and also the four copywriters who helped with the editing. I especially want to thank Mr. Perreault and Mrs. DiLorenzo for their endless support for the magazine, and Mrs. Rydingsword and Mrs. Stern for their help with student submissions.
Thank you!

Our school was grouped with nine other schools to work on a mural. Each of the ten schools, including us, made a mural the size of 10' x 3'. Next, each school cut up its mural into ten columns, kept one piece of our own, and sent the other nine to each of the other schools. Two of the schools in our group were located as far away as Korea! When each school gets all the pieces from every school, they get to assemble a unique mural of their very own, connecting students throughout the country and the world: Different Pieces, Same Puzzle (Rumsey Hall’s School Theme)!
