Sandy BridgeS iS Set to Share her Slimming SecretS A slimmer who transformed her life by losing 4 stone is using her success to help other people change their lives and achieve their weight loss dreams too. Sandy joined her local Slimming World group 6 years ago and dropped from 17 stone to 13 stone. Now, she has trained as a Consultant for Slimming World, the UK’s largest group-based weight loss organisation, at their national training academy in Derbyshire. Members at the group are getting ready to welcome Sandy as their new Consultant when she takes over the group on Thursday 4th January 2018

The latest government figures reveal that around one in four adults are obese and it is estimated that, by 2034, this will increase to one in three. 66% of the Rugby’s population is now overweight or obese, and Sandy says her new role has never been more important. Sandy says: “Obesity is becoming such a huge issue across the UK. When I first joined Slimming World as a member, I never dreamed that I would end up helping other people to lose weight but now I just can’t wait to get started. After losing 4 st and completing my training, it’s a privilege for me to be able to pass on the experience, insight and understanding that helped me, so that I can give my members the support they need to get to target. “Support is really the most important thing. It all starts with feeling that you’re not alone. I couldn’t have lost 4 stone without the weekly help, encouragement and understanding of my own Consultant and group. As someone who has lost weight myself I know the challenges people can face, which is why, along with the group, I will be there to support every one of my members all the way to their chosen target weight. Setting targets, sharing recipes and other ideas, and working together as a group to overcome challenges and celebrate success is so important to a successful journey. That’s why, at my Slimming World group, there’ll be tons of support, encouragement and fun.

“Like a lot of slimmers, I had tried to lose weight so many times before by following numerous diets but they were never sustainable because I’d always get tired of restricting what I ate. I thought I was destined to struggle with my weight for the rest of my life, but when I came to Slimming World it was different. I never felt like I After was on a diet. The eating plan encourages you to eat lots of tasty, filling foods like pasta, rice, potatoes and lean meat and fish, you are never hungry and no foods are banned so there’s no deprivation. I couldn’t believe I’d found a way to lose weight without starving myself. “Slimming World isn’t just about changing what you eat. Becoming more active is important too. Our Body Magic programme takes the threat out of activity by showing people, many of whom have unpleasant memories of being forced to take part in activity at school, how they can build activity into their daily routine without having to take up traditional forms of exercise like going to the gym or running. Everything counts from walking to gardening to washing the car. I love playing green bowls & hockey & walking my dog to get my Body Magic! As a Consultant it’s my role to create that warm, supportive atmosphere to get people sharing their ideas and experiences to help others - it’s going to be great fun!” Jane Eaton, who runs Slimming World’s Cawston group and manages Sandy as a Team Developer, says: “Slimming World Consultants are chosen for their positive outlook and because they genuinely care about the health and happiness of others. With Sandy’s experience of being a successful Slimming World member and her kind and warm personality and great sense of humour I just know that she’ll be an amazing support to members, cheering them all the way to their target weight.” Details of Sandy’s group can be found opposite

Often during someone’s career they can work for a number of different employers, meaning that often people can amass a great number of pensions which become preserved as careers advance with new employers. At the time this situation does not cause a problem, however, as retirement approaches it can become very confusing tracking down previous pensions and working out the best way to provide income from them when you retire. At P J L F i n a n c i a l S e r v i c e s our dedicated “in house” pension specialist Paul Loveridge is able to help without having to refer you on to another adviser for the specialist advice that you need at this important time.

Since the introduction of “Pension Freedoms” in April 2015 the retirement arena has changed dramatically and now provides more options than ever regarding the way that you can access your pension funds. This can be a very confusing decision and if the wrong decision is made this can have a dramatic effect on your future income for the rest of your life. There is a lot to take into account at this important time; Do you want to retire early? Do you want to pass your pension on to your children after your death? Are you single and paying for pension options you will never use? Do you need access to some but not all of your pension pot? Do you need to vary your income from year to year to help reduce the tax you pay? Do you want to retire early and possibly receive a higher initial pension income which can be reduced when you begin receiving your state pension? Are you worried about inheritance tax on your estate? Are you worried that a previous employer may become insolvent, and if so what options do you have? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you would likely benefit from a discussion with Paul about how to achieve you financial goals in the best way possible.

You can contact Paul on 0 1 7 8 8 5 7 1 1 2 2 to make an appointment for a free initial discussion where he will discuss the options available to you and let you know more about the best way to meet your requirements.

Big enough to cope, small enough to care

All installations carried out by RSI carry a workmanship guarantee AND a manufacturer’s guarantee Roger and his family have been running the company since 1983 which means knowledge has been passed through three generations allowing RSI to build the reputation it has today. We specialise in fascias, guttering and EPDM roofing but also offer many other services which are always fitted to the highest professional standard, well beyond most of our competitors. Our quotations are only ever provided by Roger or his sons: Craig or Marcus. OUR QUOTATION PROCESS • Contact us through our website, telephone or by email to arrange a convenient time and date. • During our free quote we explain what is involved in our installation, there are no pressure sales and our quotes only take a short time to carry out. • NO DEPOSIT- payment is on completion of installation. Please be wary of companies that ask for a deposit or upfront payment. • After our genuine survey we will send a written quotation in the post or via email. We give a firm quote and do not start at an inflated price so there is no need to barter. • Once the quotation is sent in writing we leave the decision entirely up to you. There are no follow up calls.

Mock TuDoR PlankS- It’s not wood its better – the perfect solution for replacing wooden mock Tudor planks. Wooden Tudor planks are very high maintenance, and sometimes only last up to 1 year before seeing signs of deterioration. The new mock Tudor planks carry a 15 year guarantee and once fitted can be forgotten about. These boards are handmade reproductions created from high-quality mouldings of actual English Oak pieces. Each plank has the identical detail, warmth and visual appeal of actual wood. With its grained timber texture, knots and imperfections of centuries old oak and with the mock Tudor pegs the effect is so true to life it’s hard to tell that they are not real wood. Unlike any other product on the market, these planks have a coloured core providing unparalleled UV resistance.

CONCRETE GUTTERING/ FINLOCK GUTTERING Concrete gutters, also known as Finlock gutters were a cheap installation option on properties built in the 1950’s to 1970’s. The protruding half acts as the concrete gutter, whilst the section hidden within the house provides a counter balance. Cutting and removing concrete modernises your house by installing UPVC fascia boards and plastic guttering stops leakages and damp, but! It it is not the only option, look into re-lining if it is possible. THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS MAIN PROBLEMS WITH CONCRETE/ TO GET RID OF LEAKING FINLOCK GUTTERING FINLOCK • Frequent movement and cracking of the 1-Re-Lining (using rubberbond joints EPDM with a 20 year guarantee) • Being only a few inches from the ceiling leaks 2-Complete removal and can cause considerable damage replacement with modern PVCu • Unlike normal gutters, repairs need to be gutter system carried out by specialist guttering companies not a problem for us! Improve your health in 2018.. As we start this lovely New Year I wonder if perhaps the world has gone completely mad. There have been all the excesses of the Christmas and New Year festivities; the parties, the food, the alcohol and all those presents but then when I walk in Leamington Spa, and of course this is true for many areas of this country and indeed worldwide, people are sleeping in doorways, it makes me feel so sad, but not just sad. In the 21st century and living in such an affluent society it really is quite disgraceful; have we become so selfish and greedy? I am not sure what has gone so terribly wrong for these people. I do hope and pray that in 2018 there can be more compassion and generosity toward those in need. Surely something very radical needs to happen so that everyone has at least a warm place to go to at the end of the day. We each need a safe place to call our home. With these thoughts in mind I realize just how blessed my life is and how fortunate I am to be healthy and happy and enjoy my work. I was wondering how many of you have made New Year resolutions, I suspect a lot. There is a part of all of us that wants to be better, or do better than we did last year. One of my resolutions this year, although I prefer to call them goals, is to be as fit and healthy as I possibly can and I would like you all to embrace this concept for 2018. It takes almost gargantuan willpower to get moving when the weather is cold. The long grey days do not help but you can do it. It is really as easy as changing your mind set and “moving that body”! I know it is not as simple as it sounds but with determination and knowledge about nutrition it can be done. You have to really commit to a new healthier lifestyle not a new fad diet. Diets do not work and in fact recent research states that diets can be very harmful to the body. I am sure we have all gained a few pounds over the Christmas period but we need to regain control now. The following tips should help you make a good start to 2018. If you are struggling and need support, please contact me and I will tell you about my Healthy Living for Life Programme. • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day - eat protein at breakfast it will help sustain you throughout the morning. If you skip breakfast it makes it harder to maintain stable blood sugar levels and you are more likely to get that “chocolate biscuit” moment at about 11.00 am. • Fat makes fat – reduce your intake of saturated fats but remember we need the essential fats found in oily fish or take an Omega 3 EPH supplement. Research indicates that increasing your intake of Omega 3 helps protect you from heart disease, supports your immune system and improves brain power. • Reduce your portion sizes – use a breakfast plate instead of a dinner plate, it will make a difference. Overeating is a bad habit, just think how many people in the world are starving so be grateful for the food you eat.

O hi • Eat slowly, be relaxed when you are eating and enjoy your food - slow down and chew each als mouthful, this improves digestion and you feel more satisfied at the end of the meal. of t • Eat a varied diet – introduce nuts, seeds and pulses into your diet and reduce your red meat intake. The Pulses in particular are such a healthy food high in protein, iron and the B vitamins. of m e • Eliminate processed foods – they are full of fat, sugar, salt and preservatives so banish these foods ligam from your home. It will be much easier not to be tempted if you simply stop buying them. e mech a • Stock your food cupboards with healthy food. Plan what you are going to be eating and shop nerv ous accordingly; planning and having a strategy is an essential part of a healthy diet. The p r • Please drink more water, often we can be dehydrated; we think we are hungry but in fact we are just mani im pula thirsty. com • Finally and most importantly Exercise – even a little makes a difference. Start gently if you haver not plaint ange exercised for a while (also check with your doctor) but aim to get your heart working for 30 minutes at least of m is o five times each week.

Make a change no matter how

Have a fantastic 2018 and let us all try to be more generous and compassionate to those less fortunate. I am sure that this is probably the best health tip of all!

Live with joy and health.

What is Hair Loss?

What are it’s Effects?

What can you do about it?

We put your questions to Harley Street Trichologist Eva Proudman AIT What is a Trichologist? Eva: A Trichologist will have trained and qualified with the prestigious Institute of Trichology specifically on the hair and scalp, their expertise in accurate diagnosis coupled with treatment advice will ensure that your hair or scalp issues have the best outcome possible. I seem to be losing hair when I brush it or wash ? Eva: This can be a very common condition and can be treated to a successful recovery. By attending a consultation, for full diagnosis and in some instances blood tests to enable a complete diagnosis. I can prescribe shampoos and conditioners that really work, dietary supplements where necessary, dietary advice, and I am always on hand to answer any questions or concerns and provide a full follow up programme to ensure full recovery. Do I need supplements and are they expensive? Eva: You may need a supplement to increase your hair health but I will only recommend them after doing a thorough consultation. If they are required I can recommend a supplement that costs as little as £10 a month

My hair is starting to thin on top and I am very conscious of this Eva: This can be a number of conditions but with a 45 minute consultation I can diagnose the cause and we can then look at solutions to resolve this for you, whether it be topical treatments or the very latest in cosmetic solutions, I have access to the widest range from specialist hair care ranges through to full hair transplants, Ipride myself on offering the best options for each individuals requirements. I have had a blood test via my GP and he says all is normal Eva: Your GP is testing for conditions relevant to your general health, and not in relation to your hair health, the Hair is the first thing to suffer when the body is low on certain vitamins and minerals, sometimes dietary changes can address the problem, sometimes a course of hair related supplements can make a world of difference to your hair health Is Hairloss Curable? Eva: There are no miracle cures, however, certain hair loss conditions may be preventable it will depend on the diagnosis. A diagnosis can only be reached following a consultation, once the condition is identified, you have taken the first steps to dealing with your hair loss and finding the best solution for your condition.

Plant your pot grown Christmas tree:

Remember to plant as soon as possible in January to enjoy next Christmas. Select a spot that has well drained soil, sun and enough space for your tree to sit comfortably. Then all you need to do is keep it watered and protected.

Planting Seeds: Flower seeds can be sown in January, as long as you use propagation equipment to get the most from your seeds. This will give your plants a head start, ready to give your garden an splash of beautiful colour. • • • • •

Fallen Leaves: Sorry but the job of leaf clearing continues. All leaves

that have fallen, along with the ones under bushes and hedges, should be cleared away as they give protection for snails and slugs during the winter months. Also remember that falling leaves can clog up greenhouse gutters. All the raked up leaves may be left to rot down in a leaf bin.

Make 2018 a

Positive Year...

Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter

So what goes through your mind when someone says ‘ What’s your new years resolution?’ Stop Smoking? Lose Weight? Get Fit/Join the Gym? Drink Less? These might be the age old classics but they pop up every year for a reason! One common mistake that people make year after year is making a ‘resolution’ on a whim without fully thinking it through:- is it achievable? What timescale does it need? Do I really want to do it in the first place? These are all things that we should be asking ourselves before taking on a major change. There is always an argument to say - why not just get on with it as soon as you want to do it - why wait until New Year? Will it make my life better if I do it? If the answer is yes.......then do it but first consider that there are many ways to enhance your life, make you happier & healthier than a straightforward traditional New Years Eve Resolution. After all, statistics show that just 8% of people are successful in sticking to their resolutions. With this in mind here are some alternative ways to make sure that 2018 is a positive year for you and your family.

Let’s start with a Healthy Mind... A healthy mind is the first step to a healthy body. There is little point in pounding the gym if you hate gyms, it will only make you miserable, and for some, being miserable makes them turn to the wrong foods and so you end up in a vicious cycle. If you make just one ‘resolution’ for 2018, make it this “I will only do things that make me happy or that I enjoy’. So many people do so many things that don’t make then happy - because they think saying no to something or someone will upset or make someone else unhappy - but in actual fact you’re damaging your own health by doing it. Everyone has the right to be happy and that includes you, however uncomfortable it is to say no, you NEED to learn to say it. Your life will be enriched and more positive for the change, and in turn you will feel happier. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fantastic to do things for others, more so if they are appreciative, but often we do too much at the expense of ourselves that’s when it needs to be considered and changed. Most of all don’t feel guilty - this is your life and no one else’s. A healthy mind can also be achieved by conquering a fear or phobia, especially if it affects you life on a regular basis. Maybe you’ve suffered a trauma of some kind and are still affected by it years later. There is so much positive help out there now that no one should suffer in silence. The stigma of mental health issues is long gone luckily, and many people now realise that it’s ok to seek help and speak out. Ridding yourself of emotional baggage could be the start of a whole new chapter, so why keep carrying it around?

How’s your glass?...

Joining a Gym will NOT make you Fitter & Healthier... Lots of ‘I’m joining a gym’ resolutions are made every new year and gyms around the country have an influx of new members year on year but sadly by February many of those people are barely making it there once a week. Joining a gym won’t make you thinner, fitter & healthier - the hard work that you put in at the gym of course will, but that takes the commitment of going at least 3 times a week so make sure you can commit to that before signing on the dotted line and paying out your hard earned money. There are of course so many other ways to make you fitter, healthier and ultimately slimmer. Consider these: Why not try an independent exercise class? There lots of local fitness experts here in Rugby with classes on various days of the week so there’s sure to be something that will fit into your schedule. The best thing to do is try a few different types of classes to see which you enjoy the most, there’s nothing worse than doing something that you don’t enjoy each week - and long term, you’ll never stick to it. How about just walking more? There are many health benefits to walking regularly and its so cheap and easy to do!

If Resolutions aren’t your thing then how about some positive organisation tips instead?: • •

• •

• • •

At some point in January take time to write all the birthdays in your Diary that you acknowledge/buy for throughout the year. Look through each month at the beginning of each month and buy for that month and the next all in one go (if budgets allow). It’s far easier to write a card and wrap at the last minute then it is go shopping, buy, wrap and give! Plan ahead for your day trips, holidays, family & friend visits. Having something to look forward to is always a positive thing. What will you write??? Never find the time to clean the house? Why not get a cleaner? Busy lives are such now that it hard to find the time to fit everything in so for the things you can’t fit in, don’t stress over it, see if the budget allows for someone else to do it. This comes back to doing the things that you enjoy. If you hate cleaning, find someone who doesn’t. But most of all don’t beat yourself up about it - we’re all human. Make a list everyday/week/month dependant on how busy your life is, of things that need doing. Once the list is done then go back through it and star the urgent items so you know which to prioritise. Get out in the fresh air - even if you don’t feel you have the time, a brisk 10 minutes can help un-jumble the mind and you’ll feel a whole lot better and probably be more productive afterwards. Finances - if you’re a bit of an impulse spender and get the plastic out more that you See how some of our perhaps should. Try leaving your wonderful advertisers credit card at home in a safe can help you achieve your goals place all the time so that when you find something you really want you will have to go back for it. Sometimes this is enough time for you to think twice and perhaps not spend so much. Of course if you are going for something specific and know you need it then take it but for every day shopping don’t have it with you.

Recipes From Three Bistro P e a s & P o t a to e s Okay, it’s a new year, it’s a new chance to be a better man woman or person or at the very least, better than you were the year before which is all that I strive for, not yearly but hopefully biannually! So you’ve had Christmas, got divorced, disowned your children and pushed your parents off a cliff and decided to resign and write that book you’ve always wanted to! Chances are that over Christmas you’ve gorged on meat and if you’re a vegetarian you’ve been up to your nuts in nut roasts so I propose something different. I’ve toyed with the idea of vegetarianism but would only be able to on an Indian diet. When I was eighty years old my mother took me to India for what I thought was a 2 week holiday. Little did I know that the plan was that she’d leave me there or I would have taken more than 2 weeks worth of Frosties. I’m not asking for the worlds smallest violin symphony but it was harsh baptism of fire but I did get a tan! My Frosties ran out sooner than expected and my Auntie made it very clear that if I wanted to stay alive I’d have to start eating the foreign muck they ate, or in other words, Indian food. Peas and potatoes was my first meal and it is still one of my favourites to this day. So think of this meal as salvation for a child who thought he was looking at a long road of starvation in an alien land populated my mentalists! The Ingredients Onions, chilli, garlic & ginger: Obviously Tinned tomato: The 48th wonder of the world Garam massala: Home made if possible, just grind up roughly equal amounts of cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper and cardamom Peas: Frozen Petit Pois are the best Corriander powder: I can’t say fairer than that Tumeric: The 38th wonder of the world Potatoes: Any that you like, the bigger they are the easier they will be to peel unless you have your own sous chef like me, then you can use the smallest most fiddly ones to keep them on their toes! Water: Any council pop will do unless you live in Coventry! The Method I won’t go into how to make the paste as I’ve detailed this at length in an earlier recipe and if you haven’t seen it then where have you been? But as I’m trying to be a better person (!); fry the onions till translucent then add the finely cut garlic & ginger. Adding a little salt to the onions while frying them really adds to the final dish. Add the potatoes and peas and fry a little before adding the tomatoes, salt, chilli, coriander powder and tumeric to sex up the whole dish. I usually use two teaspoons of coriander per tin of tomatoes. Fry this a while till the tomatoes attain a deeper scarlet hue. Then add the water to cover everything and boil. Once it boils turn the heat down and simmer till the potatoes are almost cooked. Then add the garam massala. Do this too early and it will mask the vibrant flavours of the peas and potatoes themselves and will be a generic ‘curry’. The idea is to bring out the flavours of what you are cooking and not just to taste spices, a common mistake most people make. If it just tastes of a spicy gruel then you’ve gone too far. This has now made it’s way on to our Friday supper club menu as I’ve come to terms with my past to become the fine upstanding gift of a man who’s words you are reading now!

Extra festive gifts delivered for Rugby youngsters Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter

Dozens of festive gifts for youngsters living in and around Rugby have been delivered to a children’s centre this week, just in time for Christmas. The stockings, which were filled to the brim with wrapped presents, were delivered by some of Santa’s little helpers to the Claremont Children’s Centre in the town. The presents are set to be gifted to families who use the Rugby Group of Children’s Centres venues for both support and fun activities, and were donated by the Urban&Civic team who are based at the new Houlton development in Rugby. Galina Bardarska, Visitor Centre Manager for Houlton, said: “Father Christmas had left us some gifts and we wanted to make sure that we could help make this festive season an extra special one for children in and around the Rugby area. It’s our pleasure to gift these toys to the centres which work tirelessly throughout the year in improving the lives of local families.” The centres, which are managed by the charity Barnardo’s on behalf of Warwickshire County Council, are designed for families with children under the age of five, and offer services such as health, social care and early education so they can reach their full potential at home and school. Julie Payne, Barnardo’s Children’s Service Manager for the Rugby Group of Children’s Centres said : “We would like to thank the team at Houlton for their donation, it is going to make a real difference to so many families this Christmas.”

Well done to last months winner - B Morgan of Cawston

Films Coming to the Cinema during January Coco: Release Date: 13 January 2018 The Plot: Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael Garcia Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Downsizing: Release Date: 19 January 2018 The Plot: Downsizing imagines what might happen if, as a solution to over-population, Norwegian scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall and propose a 200-year global transition from big to small. People soon realize how much further money goes in a miniaturized world, and with the promise of a better life, everyman Paul Safranek (Matt Damon) and wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to abandon

their stressed lives in Omaha in order to get small and move to a new downsized community — a choice that triggers life-changing adventures. Cast: Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, Kristen Wiig Director: Alexander Payne 12 Strong: Release Date: 26 January 2018 The Plot: In ‘12 Strong’ a U.S. Special Forces team, led by their new Captain, Mitch Nelson (Hemsworth), is sent into Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission. There, in the rugged mountains, they must convince a Northern Alliance General to join forces with them to fight their common adversary: the Taliban and their Al Qaeda allies. In addition to overcoming mutual distrust and a vast cultural divide, the team —accustomed to state-of-the-art warfare—must adopt the rudimentary tactics of the Afghani horse soldiers, combining ancient strategies of cavalry warfare with twenty-firstcentury aerial bombardment technology to perform a seemingly impossible feat.

Worried about Health & Safety?... Worried about and Safety? Like us on Facebook and follow us onHealth Twitter Are you afraid of Health and Safety, and overwhelmed with all the legislation? Maybe as a business owner, you don't even know where to start. Putting things right in the H&S world doesn’t always have to be complicated or costly; often putting small things in place and making minor changes in working practices can dramatically lower your risk level. It can also mean you prevent injuries to your employees and the public¹. And it can keep you safe from prosecution – if something does go wrong a mitigating factor is that you can show you’ve made an effort to control hazards. • Well the first step is to do an inspection of your workplace, looking at all the ways people could be harmed. Then record all the things that need to be improved. You could use a checklist to make sure you don't miss anything out while you’re walking round. • Secondly you need to assess the risks for each activity or process which your business does, and if you have 5 or more employees you must write all this down by law. It’s a fairly straightforward process in 5 essential steps in which you establish the hazards, work out who could be harmed and how, analyse the likelihood of something going wrong and the potential consequences and look at all the existing control measures, before deciding what else you need to put in place. • You should also have a policy statement which says you are committed to operating your business safely and what arrangements you will make to comply with the law. • If you need any help with any of this I can give you a free consultation to see what is appropriate for you. SEE WHAT KBC CAN CREATE FOR YOU Kitchen & Bathroom Creations has been established now for just over 6 years, starting in a small showroom in Hinckley, quickly expanding into the unit next door to double it's size and more recently opened showrooms in both Warwick and Rugby. As the name suggests, they specialise in creating quality but affordable bathroom and kitchen renovations. Offering a full renovation package from design to completion, they take care of all plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling etc and use only qualified tradesmen with the back up guarantees on all goods and labour supplied. The Company is family owned and run by the Director, James Holland, his wife Victoria and father Paul, who ran his own successful furniture retail outlet for over 30 years. The Hinckley showroom has recently been refitted, now with 6000 sq ft of retail and warehouse space with over 20 bathroom sets, and our complete new range of kitchens and bedroom sliding wardrobes on display. After 6 years of trading, James feels the time is right to expand the business further to bring the successful formula of quality but affordability to other areas, and shortly in addition to Hinckley, Warwick and Rugby, will be opening branches in other areas shortly. James would also like to point out that over the past 6 years we have successfully completed over 1000 renovations, and this year particular emphasis will be placed on the growth of our kitchen range with the four best selling lines, Gloss Slab, Traditional Shaker, J.Pull Gloss, and the True Handless range being heavily promoted. James says " We are already cheaper than all of the big D.I.Y stores but by increasing our sales volumes, our prices will come down further, giving our customers even better value for money". KBC offer a free, no obligation planning service for your kitchen and bathroom and will either just supply your goods or fully manage all or part of your renovation project. If you just want to freshen up your tired kitchen, they also offer a door change service with many styles and colours to choose from.
