Grossglockner

Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße

Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße is located on the northern approach to the Großglockner High Alpine Road. This mountain road connects Bruck to Heiligenblut and is almost 48 km long. The Bruck and Fusch holiday region is known primarily for its extensive hiking opportunities.

(c) Wald1siedel

Like Bruck, Fusch is also located in Pinzgau. The area was already settled in Celtic times and was the starting point of a mule track over the Großglockner. Along this path, a small statue of Hercules was discovered near the Hochtor, which is the highest-altitude European sanctuary.
