04. DESIGN BRIEF
For this project, the brief was to redesign a family terrace house in Randwick, Sydney. The clients were looking to have a makeover of their kitchen, dining, and living room. The client Jane has an obsession with mid-century modern design style and would like this used for inspiration but with an up-to-date look and feel. Her husband has added that he would like indoor plants incorporated into the design.

The "Bringing the Outdoors In" concept aims to bring nature's elements into the home. The design features simple forms and organic influences.

It incorporates furniture and décor with midcentury modern design style that is clean, sophisticated, and inclusive.
With little natural light in the property, I have kept the colour palette light and airy. Using muted natural tones for main walls and small pops of brighter hues scattered throughout the fittings and furnishes to bring the design to life. Overall this concept creating a beautifully balanced and relaxed family home.
