HILL RuardeanHillgainedtheirfirstpromotiontotheNorthernSeniorLeaguein1994/95and competedinthisleagueforseveralseasonsbeforebeingrelegatedin2001.They immediatelyregainedpromotionthefollowingyearonlytoberelegatedagainin2004.In the2011/12season,theyearnedalastdaypromotionbacktotheseniorleagueaswellas reachingthefinalofthe‘AmateurCup’The2012/13seasonbroughttheclubitsfirst promotiontotheNorthernSeniorLeagueDivision1fromback-to-backpromotions.‘TheHill’ finishedinthetopeightforeachofthenextthreeseasonsbeforefinallywinningtheDivision 1titlein2016/2017season.Theyscoredanincredible125goalsandconcededjust34in35 games.

In2015WinfordPHFCamalgamatedwithBromleyHeathUnitedFCto triplethesizeofitsseniorsectionandprovidetheimpetusfor successivepromotionsthroughthedivisionsoftheBristoland SuburbanLeague.The2018/19seasonsawthe1stteambecame ChampionsofBristol&SuburbanPremierDivision1andgaining promotiontotheGloucestershireCountyLeague.Atremendous achievementinsucharelativelyshortperiodoftime.However,the firstcoupleofseasonsatthishigherlevelwerenotallplainsailing withplayersandmanagementhavingtoadjusttoamorephysical andcompetitivetypeoffootballthatrequiredamuchhigherlevelof fitness.Thedisruptioncausedtofootballandlifeingeneralbythe Covidpandemicoverthisperiodalsomadeitdifficulttomaintain anyformofprogressorconsistency.Itwasnotuntilthe2021-22 seasonreallythattheClubstartedtolookathomeintheCounty Leagues,especiallyinthesecondhalfoftheseason.Team restructuringandcreatingablendofyoungplayersandexperienced playersstartedtopaydividends.Thisallcametofruitionduringlast season’sCountyLeaguecampaignwhenwefinishedrunners-upnot farbehindthewinnersCribbsand8pointsclearofthethirdplaced team.
