RHCC Revels, the bar has been set high for the club’s achievements this season - not just in terms of results, but in attitude, commitment, teamwork and effort. The triumph was a fantastic example of what we should be striving for as a club, and I’m sure it’s a challenge we can all step up to. With the weather glorious and the ground looking terrific (thank you to the record number who attended Get Set day this year), this promises to be a wonderful start to the 2025 outdoor season.

LLIt’s also a delight to welcome so many new faces, across all sections - I trust that you’ll find the club a wonderful place to enjoy your cricket and continue to grow within the sport. There are over 60 match days scheduled at home this season, across 10 teams, and I’m looking forward to welcoming all who participate. We have a lot to be excited about as club and I know every one of us will strive to do us proud.
Go well teams, and as ever, Up The Hill!

We approach the summer season with energy and vigour after participating in the indoor winter league competition and coming a respectable 4th place. Since January, we have welcomed many more new players, bringing our squad to over 20 players and have had the benefit of being coached by Chloe Skelton, current player for Western Storm. The weather may be against us, but we aim to play an inter-club “friendly” hardball game this Sunday, prior to starting the hardball league the following week. The fact we are growing as a team so quickly is testament, not only to the dedication and spirit of all the women who show up to practice, but also to the committee and RHCC sports club who also want to see the game of cricket grow. Here’s to a fantastic summer and here’s to a cheeky shandy post a Sunday game! Cheers!
