ADAM COLE - 1ST XI

Last week we kicked off the season with a great win against Witcombe, beating them by 158 runs The standout performance of the day goes to Jack Weaving for his 108 not out, with contributions from Tax (30), Jayner (25) and Kerry (21) Our bowling performance was excellent with Jack, Nick and Alfie all getting 2 wickets each. We're at home again this week as we welcome Westbury Here's hoping for a similar result

DEAN WHITE - 2ND XI

I was feeling a bit low at the start of this week after two successive Saturdays without a 2nd XI game, but watching the U15s play out a thriller against Huntley on Monday night significantly improved my mood. Our junior section is full of players of great heart and skill, as reflected by the inclusion of so many of them in our side to take on Upton St Leonards. The future’s bright; the future’s Ruardean Hill!

We continue to have a fantastic turnout for training, with every player making progress each week For those who are reading this who may think cricket is not for them, please consider coming and meeting us all. Regardless of cricketing ability, the laughter that comes from the field each week is worthy of attending on its own. We are a far ranging group, with some players having not picked up a cricket bat until they joined We practice every Wednesday from 6-7.30pm. So come along!
