Oh what a year 2019 has been!

Your Roseville Area Chamber continues to be hard at work for YOU and your business. This year we focused on helping our members better define the expectations of their membership- since it can look so different for every business. The outcome resulted in clearer value propositions and how our services and programs best fall into each of them. See pages 5 & 6 of this report to learn more.

In addition to helping our members make better use of their membership, we have also been busy hosting stellar networking opportunities, advocating for businessfriendly legislation within our region, investing in our future leaders through our Ignite & Leadership Roseville programs and much, much more. Our

Chamber strives to be essential in making sure our community is a great place to live, work and do business. See pages 3 & 4 of this report to see the impact we have made over the year.

But the accomplishment I am most proud of this year is the retainment of our 5 Star Accreditation status through the United States Chamber of Commerce. You might be wondering why that is important to you and your business. Ultimately, this status confirms that we do what we say we do.

This distinction puts us at the top 1% of Chamber’s nationwide and I couldn’t be prouder of all of our volunteers, Board of Directors, staff and members who continually pour into our organization to ensure our Chamber is truly the best of the best!

NETWORKING EVENTS We hosted over 40 events for our members to cultivate new relationships to help grow their businesses.

We successfully retained our Chamber’s 5-Star Accreditation through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and received a perfect score in 6 out of the 9 areas evaluated, keeping us at the Top 1% of Chambers nationwide.

$42,000+ GIVEN TO LOCAL CHARITABLE CAUSES

We advocated for our members priorities by taking a stand on 30 bills at the State legislature through our UCAN program.

ACCREDITATION WITH U.S. CHAMBER

Including $20,000 to the City of Roseville’s at-risk youth programs from the proceeds of our annual SPLASH event, $2,500 to the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, $10,000 to REACH, $5,000 to the Roseville Public Safety Foundation, as well as funds to the Sierra College Robotics Club, KidsFirst, and more.
