Now with 181 exhibitors and many more participants, our 2026 show is significantly larger than ever before; certainly larger than any other indoor show in the rail sector. Being a focussed show, every exhibitor is appropriate to the sector we serve.
Proudly in 2026, we know of no other Rail show in the UK where you have the opportunity to network directly and effectively with so many key people from DFTO, HS2, Porterbrook, Siemens, CAF, Hitachi, Alstom, Wabtec, DB Cargo, Train Lessors, Train Operators, tier ones and the wider supply chain, all under one roof. See the floor plan on pages 36 and 37.
RSN is a very productive show enabling client organisations and the supply chain to achieve in one day, what would otherwise require an enormous amount of travel and time.
At RSN you will find almost everyone you would want to meet.
We would like to think that our everyday engagement in the industry has helped us to shape a superb event for you, that whilst affordable and accessible, also delivers high quality opportunities and information to help you to increase your market share in rail.
Now in it’s 7th edition, RSN offers a community feel for the rail industry, where visitors and exhibitors are enthused by the buzz the event provides and the dynamic pace of the show. RSN is the place where contacts are made and relationships are built.
Whilst the show is organised by a small team, we thank Rail Business Daily, Railway-News, Enigma Seven, Jobson James Rail, Derby Arena, Derby Live and the many friends that have helped us to shape an event with something for everyone.
For 2026 we have expanded parking and arranged a team of marshalls to guide you to a space and as always, there are no hidden charges for visitors and parking is free. We are looking forward to welcoming you !

Rolling Stock Networking, the UK’s most important trade exhibition for suppliers and manufacturers working in the Rolling Stock industry, returns to Derby Arena on Thursday 2 July 2026.
The one-day exhibition, which is completely free to attend, will be even bigger and better this year.
Over 180 exhibitors, up from 150 in 2025, will have their latest products and services displayed on stands staffed by their most knowledgeable experts, all of them ready to answer questions from more than 2,000 visitors to the East Midlands venue.
Delegates will be able to meet with train builders, tier-one suppliers and the wider industry, and learn about their latest developments in technology, innovation and AI (artificial intelligence). They can develop and discover new sources for products and technology, some of which may well have been unknown to them until meeting up in Derby.
Above all, RSN is about networking, giving suppliers and customers alike the chance to build relationships with people that they really need to know and that will benefit them all for years to come.

There will be other attractions too. The ever-popular ‘Meet The Buyer’ sessions, hosted by Jobson James Rail -The Rail Insurance Broker, will give exhibitors the chance to speak directly with procurement specialists from the country’s largest rolling-stock companies including Alstom and Hitachi.
Other major companies notably HS2, CAF, Porterbrook, DFTO and Stadler can be found on their exhibition stands enabling show visitors to get the chance to join in and meet their procurement teams who will be on those stands.
On the mezzanine level, Enigma Seven will be hosting three sessions on ‘Navigating the Rail Procurement Enigma: From Specification to Supply’. Delegates will be able to take part in one, two or all three of the sessions, free of charge and without having to book in advance, and can then take advantage of networking opportunities afterwards.
“Above all, RSN is about networking, giving suppliers and customers alike the chance to build relationships with people that they really need to know ”

Many enjoyed the friendly networking that the show offers. RSN is an opportunity to cement the relationships that lead to market opportunities.
Over 1,100 show guides are distributed on show day providing an annual reference for customers and suppliers

The heart of Rolling Stock Networking (RSN) is, of course, the exhibition itself. This will be opened by Rob Edgcumbe, (pictured below) Director of Maintenance Services at Porterbrook, the UK’s leading rolling stock financier and asset management company, which has invested over £1bn in new rolling stock since 2020 and is looking to invest a further £1bn of new capital in UK rail in the years ahead.

With stand sizes at RSN strictly controlled to prevent one or two big spenders from dominating the show, over 180 companies will be showing what they have to offer the sector.
At least 20 of these exhibitors have never been seen at RSN before. Major players in the industry will be exhibiting alongside smaller companies that specialise in niche products and services.
RSN enables you network with key companies like, Alstom, DFTO, HS2, CAF, Stadler, Porterbrook, Wabtec, Hitachi and mingle with Teir 1’s, Train Operators and Train Owners
Without listing all 180 – there is a full list on the RSN 2026 website – here are a few descriptions of companies and displays to look out for.

Meanwhile, Rail-CC and Transit9 will be showcasing an innovation that is primarily an engineering-based electronic CMS (content-management system) based on proper process and procedure underpinned by ORR (rail regulator) guidance. A transparent, defensible, simple at point-of-use system, RSN delegates will be able to see its advantages for themselves.

RSN 2026 will be bigger (and better) than the event in 2025. Exhibitors at last year’s event were more than satisfied with the reactions from visitors and a few of them submitted their reactions:
“We were delighted to support the Rolling Stock Networking Event in Derby and to speak to a number of existing and potential suppliers and customers to Stadler. It was also a great opportunity to see a number of friends from the Railway sector, the show seems to get both bigger and busier each year. We will look forward to attending again in 2026.” Stadler.
“Forbo Flooring Transport had a great day exhibiting at Rolling Stock Networking. Thank you. Looking forward to the 2026 event.” Forbo. “What A Triumph! You did not disappoint! The team had a busy day of enquiries and strategic conversations.” Diamond Rail Services. “It was an especially good show this year and so well done! See you next year.” DB ESG.
“We had a busy and productive day at Rolling Stock Networking 2025. A day packed with some great conversations with customers, meeting new ones and networking with the wider rail community.” LPA Group.
“Navigating the path through rail procurement is the key theme of the Enigma Seven Event ”
Situated on the mezzanine floor above the main exhibition, the Enigma Seven Zone will feature three panel session during the day that are open to all RSN visitors. These panels will bring together TOC (Train Operating Companies), DFTO, engineering, procurement, and supply chain representatives, with a number of excellent panellists confirmed including Dr Ray Carter, director and senior partner of the international training and development consultancy DPSS Consultants (Developing People Serving the Supply Chain), who will be supporting several sessions.
Commencing at 10:00, the session ‘Every engineering decision is a commercial decision’ will discuss how engineering expectations can be managed alongside budget constraints and procurement rules and regulations. It will examine whether specifications are sometimes overdeveloped when budgets are limited, resulting in the supply chain bidding against requirements that may be difficult to deliver competitively on price.

Session number two – ‘Effective scopes of work and specifications are the foundation of optimal outcomes’ –will focus on the importance of clear and well-structured specifications in supporting both the supply chain and contract delivery. Poorly defined specifications often lead to greater variation and, ultimately, increased cost. The discussion will also consider how the Procurement Act can be used more effectively, particularly through the competitive flexible procedure, including dialogue and multi-stage approaches. In addition, it will explore how Preliminary Market Engagement is often underutilised, leaving the supply chain without sufficient insight to bid as effectively as possible.
The third session, to take place after lunch, will remind delegates that ‘Customers are at the heart of every procurement’. Panellists will explore how new train procurements can reflect customer expectations while balancing associated costs and quality considerations. The panel will also consider how procurement activity should take account of customer impact in areas such as rail replacement, catering, soft furnishings, and accessibility.
Exhibitors will once again have the opportunity for intimate discussions with procurement teams from a number of major Rolling Stock companies.

Organised by Antoinette Stevenson and her team from Jobson James Rail – THE Rail Insurance Broker – the 20-minute, face-to-face ‘Meet The Buyer’ procurement meetings provide a valuable platform for suppliers to strengthen relationships with leading buyers.
These focused sessions offer the opportunity to showcase products, services, and capabilities, while clearly demonstrating how they can support upcoming requirements. As a result, they play a key role in helping suppliers work towards preferred supplier (PSL) status and have a proven track record of leading to substantial contract opportunities.

Teams from a number of companies have confirmed their attendance, including Alstom, Buckland Group, Hitachi Rail, Loram, Porterbrook, Wabtec and West Midlands Trains. Visitors to RSN 2026 can also meet procurement specialists from a number of these and other companies on their own stands in the exhibition, including Buckland Rail, CAF, DB Cargo, DFTO, HS2, Serco, Stadler and Wabtec.
RSN 2026 will be taking place at the Derby Arena in Pride Park, next to the Derby County football stadium. The sat-nav reference is DE24 8JB, there is a 1,100-space car park and parking will be FREE to visitors and exhibitors alike. There are payment machines around the car park for everyday use. DO NOT PAY – parking is free for RSN 2026 – as refunds will not be possible.
Alternatively, Derby Arena is a 15-minute walk from Derby station (two minutes by taxi) and there are several hotels also within walking distance.
Located in the centre of England, at the heart of the railway industry, with car parking on site and a main line station close by, there is no excuse not to be at Rolling Stock Networking 2026.
See you there!

Since 2016, Infodev has been working on developing the next generation of its counting technology. The goal was to not only surpass the performance of our previous generation of systems but also to go beyond “counting passengers”. Since our first pilot in 2019, the results have exceeded our expectation for both objectives. This technological advance has produced extremely accurate results, reaching a level of 99.8% accuracy (less than 2 errors per 1000 passenger counts).
The AI-based system can also detect different passenger types as well as objects typically found in public spaces and transit.

AI-based technology, enables us to explore and then meet requests for additional features, some of which are already implemented and others feed our constant innovation, conducted in collaboration with our clients. We are now elaborating upon some of these exciting new opportunities to harness additional functionality and data capture into our revolutionalry AI-based technology, enabling us to surpass alternative APC system capabilities.
Seat and Space Occupancy / Passenger Presence Detection System:
This option enables real-time monitoring of seat and luggage space availability. It can also eliminate cumulative load errors and flags abandoned objects. It provides insights into transit usage patterns, improving service quality, providing vehicle designers with passenger behaviour information and enabling resource management.
The data can be displayed graphically or transmitted in real time via APIs or to apps.
Tailgating Security:
We can identify if two people are trying to enter a specific space at the same time (for example: airport security gates or turnstiles in transit building).
Trajectory Monitoring and Counting:
Our system provides multiple-counting zones. It is possible to monitor passenger flow into and out of vehicles.
Micro-Information:
Our system provides micro information about the counts and operations. Some client told us they consider this very useful strategic data.
Infodev EDI invest substantially in R&D ensuring we are always at the forefront of innovation
Automatic Incident Reporting:
We can detect unusual situations. For instance people remaining on the door threshold, passengers too close to the driver or remaining in the driver area.
Fare Evasion Detection:
We are currently working on detecting fare evasion with clients.
Double-back Counting and Re-crossing:
Our technology has the ability to detect passengers who double-back if they can be seen outside even partially.
GTFS/RT:
Compatible with the Google General Transit Feed Specification / Real-Time.

Our exceptional counting accuracy and data quality, gives you the information to plan and manage your services
