Rotterdam School of Management The Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) is the Business Administration Faculty of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. It has: • Both an international and a traditional Bachelor Program in Business Administration • 3.050 Bachelor students • 16 Master programmes with a total of 2.252 Master students • It is ranked as the #1 Business School in the Netherlands (Elsevier, 2011), worldwide in the top 25 (Elsevier, 2009) and in Europe in the top 10 (Financial Times, 2012)

Study Association Rotterdam School of Management (STAR) STAR is the study association of RSM. STAR is the largest and most internationally orientated study association of Europe.

• 6.500 members, of which more than 1.000 internationals, 270 acitve members • This number of members makes it the largest study association of Europe, with over 35 years of experience • Both for Bachelor and Master students • 56 different committees

STAR Management Week The STAR Management Week is THE yearly pinnacle of STAR and RSM. • 28th of October until the 7th of November 2013 • More than 5.000 participants from all over the Netherlands • More than 40 participating companies • Keynote (inter)national speakers • 30 different activities, including the Entrepreneurial Seminar, Company Dinner, Workshops, Corporate Games, Company Visits, and Women’s Conference

Students • This academic year (2012-2013) a total of 22.721 students are registered at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Of these students, 7.368 are Master students • 11.776 students study at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) or at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (ESE) • Research by Intermediair (2011) shows that a study at the EUR will give the best chance of getting a high function at a AEX-company • This and data mentioned on the following page show that via the STAR Management Week you can access a large pool of talented students

Inhouse Day

The Corporate Game is an innovative and unique way to meet ambitious students. Students are playing three rounds (which can be chosen by you) to get to know your company in a competitive way.

The Inhouse Day gives a company the opportunity to give students an insight in their daily business.

Furthermore, this will also give an impression of a company’s culture. An Inhouse Day typically consists of a company presentation, case, lunch and/or drinks and sometimes workshops.

• Provides insight in the culture and challenges of your company • Enables you to judge the capacities of max. 25 students • Personal assistance will be arranged during the corporate game • Possible rounds: debate, case, elevator pitch, quiz, negotiating • If desirable, we could advice you on how to develop a challenging program

• Gives you the opportunity to invite max. 15 students in your company • Provides insight in the culture and challenges of your company • Targets ambitious students in the last phase of their studies • Has shown to be a successful recruitment activity • The STAR Management Week will provide CV’s of the students, so you can make a selection of your top students • We also provide an Inhouse Day package with possibilities to introduce and promote your company

Company Dinner

Speed Interviews are a great way of meeting students face-to-face.

The Company Dinner gives you the opportunity to have a luxury dinner with top students from the Erasmus University at a unique and exclusive location in Rotterdam.

• Possibility to meet 16 students on a personal level in four hours • Students can ask you anything they want and so could you • Targets ambitious students in the last phase of their studies • The STAR Management Week will provide CV’s of the students, so you can make a selection of your top students

• Annually recurring event • At a unique and exclusive location in Rotterdam • Targets ambitious students in the last phase of their studies • Known and popular event among students • The STAR Management Week will provide CV’s of the students, so you can make a selection of your top students. Sushi Workshop

The Golf Clinic is an interactive way to get in touch with 10 students. Golf is a very popular sport among students and associated with the business world.

Promotion The STAR Management Week also offers you the possibility to further highlight your company to reach a large number of students. To clarify the different possibilities we designed several packages for you, with several exposure options.

Academic event sponsor By connecting your name to one of the events hosted during the STAR Management Week, you can bring your company under attention of the participants.

Main sponsor If you desire to put your company in the spotlights, you can choose to be main sponsor. Film and media commercials Before and during the STAR Management Week we will put up video screens at several prominent locations on campus, showing company presentations and commercials.

The screens are located at places where many students will pass by which makes this option an easy and effective way to get the attention of students.

Advertise company logo During the (promotion period of the) STAR Management Week there are many possibilities to advertise your logo. Examples of the products we offer are as follows: • On the Management Week website (7.500 hits p.m.)

• On the Management Week poster and/or flyer • There are 750 copies of the poster, 15.000 of the flyers • On the banners during the speaker events

Facebook post on STAR page From the start of our promotion period until after the event, we can place Facebook posts to our followers. Facebook is the biggest and most used social media network. STAR has it’s own Facebook page with 3400 followers and this number grows every year. This is a very effective way to promote your company to the students because of the popularity of this social media network.

Flyer or gadget in goodie bag During the event we will give every participant a goodie bag. Besides the goodies, your company has the option to put a flyer or gadget in this bag. This way every participant can be reached during the STAR Management Week.
