Happy New Year!

All of us here at Ralph Scott Lifeservices would like to wish you a Happy New Year and hope your holiday season was filled with cherished moments and joy.

We have had a jam packed few months with the holidays, exciting events, activities, outings and milestones. From our first Activity Day Parade, the fall festival and trunk or treat, holiday dinners and the annual Christmas Concert to a special visit from Santa at StarPoint, we’ve been busy!

We are so appreciative of all of our partner organizations, churches, civic groups, individuals and local businesses who played an important role in making these experiences possible.

Employee Service Awards

We are proud to celebrate our staff for their dedication and longstanding commitment to Ralph Scott Lifeservices. Most importantly, we honor the care and compassion they demonstrate each day for the individuals we serve.

Every year, outstanding employees are nominated by their peers or supervisors for the Employee of the Year awards in three areas: Direct Support, StarPoint Direct Support, and Administrative.

Congratulations to all nominees and to this year’s winners: Willa Jones, Joanie Viars, and Ashley Braxton!

Santa Visits StarPoint

This year at StarPoint, we were delighted to welcome a special visitor Santa himself! His arrival brought extra joy to our festivities, brightened everyone's spirits, and filled the room with smiles. We hope this magical moment becomes a cherished holiday tradition for years to come.

Activity Day Parade

This past October, StarPoint Day Program hosted its inaugural Activity Day Parade to celebrate and show appreciation for our service community. Program participants and staff, led by the Burlington Police Department, proudly paraded up Turrentine Street, greeted by enthusiastic cheers from our supportive neighbors at National Agents Alliance and Ralph Scott staff.

Individuals proudly waved posters and banners, each thoughtfully crafted to represent their group home. We are deeply grateful to the Burlington Fire Department for bringing a fire truck for us to explore, the Burlington Police Department for showcasing their motorcycles, as well as Alamance Parks and Alamance Public Libraries for their support and participation.

We hope to make this an annual event and invite more neighbors and supporters to cheer us on.

Your Support Matters

Your generosity throughout the year has a profound impact on the services and support we provide to those in our care

Whether you contributed by attending our events, sending Christmas cards, donating gift cards or essential items, offering goods and services, making a financial contribution, volunteering, or played in our golf tournament, your support makes a meaningful difference.

Current Initiatives

The Ralph Scott Lifeservices Endowment was established to generate a permanent stream of income for future generations, allowing the organization to be less dependent on unpredictable sources of revenue. Gifts to the Endowment ensure your contributions leave a lasting legacy.

The StarPoint Campaign is a current project to transform the outdoor area of the StarPoint Day Program to increase accessibility to the outdoors for all participants. This project will create ADA compliant pathways, covered gathering spaces, raised garden beds, wheelchair and adaptive swings along with beautification of the grounds for all to enjoy.

Tax deductible donations may be mailed to: 408 W. Trade St., Burlington, NC 27217. For credit card transactions, call (336) 227-1011 x. 40 or go to www.Rsli.org.
